Yesterday I shared a photo of the newest addition to SDT, but I think there’s something more important behind this photo.

I think Sheddy deserves a little recognition. ❤️

The long days that very often turn into long nights, the phone that never seems to stop, the decisions, the pressure and the responsibility that comes with running a business like ours that most people never see the other side too.

Sheddy just quietly gets on with it. He works bloody hard, looks after his drivers and our customers, and somehow manages to keep everything moving even when I’m sure there aren’t enough hours in the day.

I might be a little biased 😂 but he’s one bloody good businessman, a great boss, and I’m incredibly proud of what he’s worked so hard to build.

So while the new 509 and Brazier trailer might be what you see in this photo, I see all the hard work behind it and he deserves it 💙

Moments like this are a reminder of just how far we’ve come. From one truck and a dream, to a fleet built on hard work, long days, incredible staff, loyal clients and the support of our families.

I might be a little late, but I’d like to officially welcome Ben to Team SDT!
Ben has quietly settled into the team and has already become a great fit. You’ll find him cruising the highways in 659SDT, keeping the wheels turning and representing SDT wherever the road takes him.
We’re excited to have you as part of the SDT family, Ben, and look forward to many safe kilometres ahead.
