Queensland Touch Football is coming to Charters Towers to deliver a Touch Football Academy!

Discovery Academy is designed for players aged 6–12 years, this academy introduces kids to the game of touch football in a fun, supportive and engaging environment.

The Discovery Academy focuses on learning through play, helping kids explore the fundamentals of touch football via simple demonstrations, games and skill-based activities that build confidence and enjoyment of the sport.

Cost is $50 which includes a Qld Touch Cap

Reminder: This week's games will be halted, and players will be asked to leave the field if they are not registered. It is up to each team/captain to make sure that their players are registered before they take the field.

If your name is not printed on the score sheet, then you are not registered. You can come up to the canteen and check this before your game if you are unsure.

Guest Players - Teams are only allowed a minimum of 2 guest players per week. These players must not be playing for any other team and have not played any other games throughout the season. Guest players must call up to the canteen to sign in and pay the guest fee before they take the field, or it will be a forfeit to that team.

Online Registrations - All registrations can only be completed online and at any time, so please make time before next week’s touch fixtures if you aren’t registered.

Fair Play Vouchers - Unfortunately, the Fair Play vouchers cannot be used via the online registration. Students with Fair Play vouchers must still register and pay online first, then give the voucher to our committee or email it through for the refund of registration fees. The refund can be paid via a bank account or paid in cash at the canteen.

MIXED TEAM PLAYING KIT

It was disappointing to see some forfeits last night from teams with unregistered Players.

Thank you to the majority that have done the right thing & registered on time.

It is up to each team/captain to make sure that their players are registered before they take the field.

Going forward, next week games will be halted and players will be asked to leave the field if they are not registered. Please do the right thing so the competition can continue for all players to enjoy.
