It is hard to believe it is only 400 games. Tom Lewis has seemingly been a mainstay of so many of our teams for so long. From all those that have played with him, who he has supported, who he has helped along the way - Thanks.
You are a great part of our community.
We look forward to to many more games from you.

From the proud unveiling of our new Indigenous tops, featuring a stunning design by Holly Ryan, to outstanding performances across the board, there was plenty to celebrate.
All of our Under 16 teams recorded wins, while our Under 14 Shield boys fought out a hard-earned draw against Footscray.
Our senior pennant sides also delivered:
- Men's Pennant A, B and E each claimed 3 points against ladder leaders MCC, MCC and KBH.
- Women's Pennant C secured a valuable draw against top-of-the-ladder Camberwell.
On Sunday, our Premier League teams came agonisingly close to a clean sweep against Mentone.
As we head towards the business end of the season, the club is in a fantastic position:
⭐ 12 senior weekend teams are in the hunt for finals.
⭐ 5 midweek teams are also pushing for finals action.
⭐ The Under 16 Shield boys' win keeps their finals hopes alive, while our Under 18 Lightning are also closing in on a finals berth.
A huge congratulations to all our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters. The season is building nicely—let's keep the momentum going!

Sunday will also see another incredible milestone at the Spice Bowl, with Josh Ephraums celebrating his 200th Premier League game.
Josh's journey began as a young member of our State League 2 premiership team in 2012, helping earn the club's promotion to Premier League for the 2013 season. Since then, apart from a brief stint overseas, he has been a cornerstone of our Premier League side.
As captain, Josh led the team to our inaugural Premier League premiership in 2018 before backing it up with another title in 2019. His leadership, skill, and commitment have made him one of the club's most influential players.
Beyond his contributions on the field, Josh has played a huge role in developing the next generation through his coaching. Many of the juniors he has mentored are now proudly representing the club in our Premier League team.
Congratulations, Josh, on reaching this outstanding milestone. Thank you for everything you've contributed to the club—we're looking forward to seeing many more games in the years ahead!.

It's a huge weekend of hockey at the Spice Bowl, and on Sunday we'll celebrate an incredible milestone as our goalkeeping superstar Ed Arnold plays his 200th Premier League game.
Since taking over the goalkeeping duties from Hammo in 2015, Ed has been the rock at the back—organising the defence, making countless match-saving stops, and giving the team confidence every time he steps onto the field.
His legendary performances in the shootouts of so many Premier League finals have earned their place in Southern folklore and will never be forgotten.
Congratulations, Ed, on an outstanding 200-game achievement. Thank you for everything you've given to the club—we can't wait to see many more games to come!

Good luck Nephy
Fresh off a stellar European leg of the FIH Pro League, Neph heads into the World Cup as one of world hockey's most in-form players. The prolific forward celebrated his 100th cap and scored six goals in eight matches, and after falling short in the 2022 bronze medal playoff, he'll be eager to seize another chance at World Cup success.

Southern United acknowledges the traditional owners of the lands upon which we play and to present a clear message of respect and inclusion in our Hockey Community in 2026 we are making that acknowledgment more prominent through the release of new Indigenous themed playing tops adorned with designs by Holly Ryan.
Holly an indigenous artist who has lived on Bunnurong country her entire life, who creates her art as hollymiadesigns, to reflect themes from the country we play upon.
Our premier league and reserves will be playing in our new indigenous tops as they host Mentone. Come and be part of this round on Sunday at the Spice Bowl

Yes. Amy!!
Just 24 years old and already the sixth most-capped player in the squad, Amy Lawton will be looking to take her strong form into hockey’s biggest stage. After playing a key role in our impressive finish to this year’s FIH Pro League campaign, the Victorian will be aiming to build on her World Cup success from 2022, where she featured in all six matches of our bronze medal-winning run.
