We’re excited to announce that hard-hitting all-rounder and left-arm quick Jacob Apted will be returning for season 2026/27.

“Appo” finished last season in outstanding form, playing some crucial innings with the bat and making a big impact with the ball. With genuine pace, a dangerous left-arm angle and a range of skilful variations, Jacob is set to be a major force for us next season.

We’re looking forward to seeing Appo continue his strong form in 2026/27.

Our champion fast bowler Oshan De Silva has signed on for season 15 at Le Page Park.
Our 1st XI all time leading wicket taker, and coming off another SECA team of the year selection, which is a club record 6th time!
Oshie is a crowd favourite, still only 28 years old at heart 🥰, we look forward to another big season from him.

Great to have our gun wicketkeeper and emerging leader, Lachie Carroll, sign on for season 2026/27.
Coming off his best individual season in the 1sts, Lachie averaged 30 in the middle order while continuing his excellent work behind the stumps.
Already our T20 captain and an U16 boys coach, Lachie continues to grow as a player and leader each season. We’re excited to see what another big year looks like for him in 26/27.

LPPCC is thrilled to announce that Club legend Steve McConchie has recommitted for season 2026/27 as Director of Coaching. As well as his wealth of coaching experience we look forward to Steve adding to his incredible record with the bat while he helps guide our up and coming talent.

After spending much of 2025 working and travelling in WA, we’re excited to announce that Pete Mentiplay has re-committed to the club and will be our Longmuir Shield Captain for season 2026/2027. We can’t wait to see Pete back leading from the front!

The club would also like to thank Andrew Trease, who lead us to a preliminary final as Longmuir Shield Captain for the 2025/2026 season.
