BP1 Water Pump update
BHMG contacted companies across Australia for the last two days and have now ordered a new pump from Victoria, we have been given a 7 to 10 day time frame for building and delivering the water pump. As soon as it arrives in Brisbane we will organise installation and return to normal operations.
As per booking protocols, fixtures take precedence over training so the Masters fixtures will be played on BP2 next week.
BP1 cannot be used unless wet, so activities are cancelled on this surface until the water pump is replaced. However, if we do received sufficient rain to wet the surface for safe usage, then clubs can book the vacant turf at that time, please contact Kevin at 0493 563 937.
Thank you for your patience as we work to replace the water pump.
Unfortunately, the water pump on BP1 that runs the field irrigation has failed, this means there is currently no irrigation available on this field. We, with our plumber are trying to fine a replacement pump as quickly as possible.
Without this pump, BP1 cannot be used unless we have enough rain to wet the surface. Kev will be contacting the clubs/associations rostered to used BP1 each day to advise if training will be allowed or not. Clubs/associations need to be prepared that BP1 could be out of use for a number of weeks (without rain).
We will provide updates as we have them.
