The Chinchilla Rugby League Football Club "The Bulldogs" represents the small Western Downs town of Chinchilla in the Roma and District Rugby League Competition. Our club operates on a voluntary basis with the committee and players running the club and home games.

WHAT A YEAR FOR JUNIOR BULLDOGS!

On behalf of the Senior Bulldogs, we would like to congratulate Junior Bulldogs on some outstanding team achievements that are well worth sharing.

The U13, U15 and U17 Boys were all crowned Grand Final winners in the Roma competition, first years for U13s girls and our Open Women’s finish mid pack in TJRL/TRL! And today U15 and U17 Girls backed it up by winning their TJRL Grand Finals in Toowoomba, WOW! What a day!

Five Bulldog premiership-winning teams in 2026 - what an incredible achievement.

It’s a credit to every player, coach, volunteer, parent and supporter who has contributed throughout the year.

The future is exciting for these young Bulldogs, wherever rugby league and life take them. We couldn’t be prouder to see the next generation representing Chinchilla with such success.

GRAND FINAL DAY - BASSET PARK

Congratulations to every club and team that earned the right to compete in a Grand Final at Basset Park today. Win or lose, making it to the final game of the season is an achievement everyone involved should be proud of.

U17s - Chinchilla Bulldogs Premiers - A huge congratulations to our Junior Bulldogs, taking out the U17s competition with a dominant 48–14 victory. If we can keep these young men involved and progressing through the club into senior football, the future of the Bulldogs is looking very bright.

Reserve Grade - Roma Cities got the jump on the Redbulls in a tough, hard-fought game. Although missing the trophy I think the Redbulls putting teams into back-to-back Grand Finals says plenty about the culture, consistency and support they have built within their club.

A Grade - Another great finals contest between the Redbulls and Jandowae Fishhooks, with the Redbulls capping off an impressive undefeated season with back-to-back premierships. A great achievement and credit to the players, coaches, volunteers and everyone behind the club.

Well done also to the Jandowae Fishhooks first GF back in comp. A tough way to finish a great season, but plenty to be proud of. The support behind your team today was great to see.

Days like today are a great reminder of what country rugby league is about, some good competition and communities getting behind their teams. Congratulations to everyone involved.

Also At Dalby - Our Junior bulldog U17s Girls also had a huge result today, winning their semi-final and securing a place in the TJRL Grand Final. A fantastic achievement by the players, coaches and everyone involved. We wish them all the best in the big one.

Some of the girls are in Dalby fighting through their finals, while U17s boys head to Roma for the Grand Final.

Our Open Women’s team has finished the season on a high, defeating the Oakey Bears 24-22 in their final game of the season! 🏉 What makes this achievement even more special is that it was the team’s first-ever year competing in the TRL. A huge congratulations to the woman on an incredible season! 🩷💚
