Established in 1984, Chirnside Park Cricket Club is located 35km east of Melbourne at the foothills of the picturesque Yarra Valley and is affiliated with the Ringwood & District Cricket Association (RDCA), the Women’s Community Cricket Competition (WCCC), the Mid Year Cricket Association (MYCA) and the Box Hill Reporter District Cricket Association (BHRDCA). Boasting some of the finest facilities in the association, our clubrooms, side-by-side home grounds, with fencing and synthetic run-ups and pitch surrounds, and 5 lane fully synthetic, fully enclosed practice facility are located at our Kimberley Reserve, Kimberley Drive base. We currently field 20 teams - 6 senior men’s teams, with the 1st XI competing in Newey Plate, a senior women’s team, 2 winter teams, an under 18 team, an under 15 girls’ team, 3 under 14 teams, 3 under 12 teams, an under 12 girls’ team, 2 under 10 teams and a Woolworths Junior Blasters (5-8yo) program. YOUR PANTHERS PRACTICE MATCH TEAM IS IN

Tomorrow we hit the deck at Kimberley Reserve for our real taste of Season 2026-27. We will be hosting our good friends from Wandin CC for what should be a great warm up and solid opportunity for all to get set for a big summer ahead.

We are really looking forward to having a squad of gents from all our grades playing the game together, as one.

Training will be on from 9:30-11am for those not playing.

Saturday 19th September

Cricket is back at Kimberley Reserve! 🙌

This Saturday, we welcome Wandin Cricket Club for our first official hit-out of the pre-season, with the 2026/27 season now just two weeks away!

The weather gods have delivered too, with a picture-perfect 25°C forecast, ideal conditions for a great day of cricket. ☀️🏏

Get down to Kimberley Reserve, enjoy the sunshine and catch the Panthers in action as preparations ramp up for the season ahead!

📍 U10s & U12s: Kimberley Reserve - Mondays, 5–6pm
📍 U14s & U16s: Saxon Sports - Tuesdays, 4:30–5:30pm

2026-27 SENIORS PRESEASON TRAINING UPDATE

We are now only three weeks from round one and our Tuesday training sessions are going great. There's a bit more sun around in September so we'll also be heading outdoors every Saturday morning at the club, and look to be doing Thursday's ASAP too.

Tomorrow will be our first big outdoor sesh back at the Panther's Den.
Our Women's team will be training too, so this is a great opportunity to catch up with a lot of your Chirny cohorts.

New and returning players are welcomed. Please reach out to the club if you’re keen to get involved.

JUNIOR PANTHERS – PRESEASON TRAINING UPDATE 🏏

It’s time to get back outside. Dust off your cricket gear, and get back into the nets!

Our Junior Panthers preseason training gets underway this week, with our Under 12s returning tomorrow night, followed by our Under 10s starting the following Monday.

🕔 Time: 5:00pm – 6:00pm
📍 Where: The Club (Kimberley Reserve Cricket Nets)

We’re always excited to welcome new players to the Panthers. Whether you’re a returning player or looking to join the club for the first time, please reach out to us for further information.
