More celebrations for Juniors Football Club (AJFC) with our Under 15 Division 4 boys taking out the 2026 Winter Season Championship with a 2-0 regular time win in their grand final this morning versus the Earlwood Wanderers Football Club team this morning. π₯ππ₯
Congratulations to the Earlwood Wanderers boys on a great finals series to come from 4th to make it to the Grand Final. ππ
And to our AJFC boys, congratulations πππ on a wonderful season boys. You should be very proud of your efforts this year - those extra training sessions with coaches Alex and Dan this week obviously paid dividends. πππβ½

The last day of Winter Season 2026 and grand finals are the order of the day. And congratulations to the latest of Abbotsford Juniors Football Club (AJFC) championship teams - our Under 18 Division 4 team who prevailed in extra time (1-0) after a very tight contest versus close season rivals Hurlstone Park Wanderers . π₯ππ₯
Our congratulations to the Hurlstone Park boys who pushed the AJFC team all the way this season. ππ
And to our 2026 Football Canterbury Minor Premiers and Champions, our congratulations πππ on a wonderful season boys. You should be very proud of your efforts in 2026! πππβ½

As another Winter football season comes to an end, there is one last weekend of finals football for 2026 and Abbotsford Juniors Football Club (AJFC) is well represented. 3 x AJFC teams take to the fields on Sunday for a chance to claim an Association Championship. β½π

Arlington Park and Rudd Park are the Grand Final venues this Sunday 30th, for our teams so be sure to get along from 10:30am in your best πblue and πgold to support our boys as they take on the best in their division. π₯β½ππ₯

Abbotsford Juniors Football Club (AJFC) members. Confirming that Campbell Park and Lysaght Park remain open at Club discretion tonight.
Training with restrictions is allowed as follows:
- Use of 6 yard box and goalmouth areas on all fields is to be avoided.
- Use of wheeled goals by teams playing grand finals this weekend will be by arrangement at the Club Shed.
- Lights will be turned on (subject to teams' training) and the Club Shed will be open for borrowing training equipment.
- The return of training kits and player jerseys will be possible at the Club Shed up until 8pm ππβ½

Abbotsford Juniors Football Club (AJFC) members. Confirming that Council have left Campbell Park and Lysaght Park open at Club discretion tonight.
Training will be allowed for teams that wish to tonight with restrictions the following restrictions in place:
- Use of 6 yard box and goalmouth areas on all fields is to be avoided.
- Use of wheeled goals will be prohibited tonight (the Club will look to make these available to teams playing grand finals this weekend - Wednesday and Thursday - subject to weather.
- Lights will be on and the Club Shed will be open for borrowing training equipment and return of training kits. ππβ½

Abbotsford Juniors Football Club (AJFC) Team training kit return is now due for those teams who have completed their season and who have not registered their participation in a Summer Football competition with the Club.
Returns can be made to the Club Shed at Campbell Park during open times this week (Tuesday to Thursday 4:30pm to 8:00pm).
A reminder that the training bag, balls, cones, player training bibs, team official and ground official bibs along with any goalkeeper jerseys and gloves provided by the Club are to be returned to the Shed.
Please ensure all training bibs, ground official and team official bibs and goalkeeper jerseys are washed and dried before return.
If you wish to retain your kit through the summer season, please register your request with [email protected].
Finally, please ensure you sign-off your training kitβs return to the Club Shed with a Club Official in attendance. π ππ

They might not have had the good fortune to play a grand final at Campbell Park on Sunday but there was also a lot to celebrate for 's Over 35 Women Division 3 B team as they claimed a narrow 1-0 win in their match vs Cooks River Titans at Rudd Park. π₯ππ₯
Firstly, congratulations to the team who came from 4th in the regular season finish to contest the grand final. ππ
And to the Abbotsford Juniors women (not forgetting coach, Tyron), hearty congratulations on a great 2026 season to claim the Minor Premiership and Championship double. We trust the celebrations πwent well into the evening post game! πππβ½
