With all the celebrating since both 🏆Southern Knights As and 🏆Reserves became League Champions in their respective leagues, the last game results and graphics became slightly delayed.

Knights First Team suffered their first and only home loss for the year. Knights went 0-1 down after just 4 minutes but were not without their chances to level or win the game, unfortunately Elizabeth Vale were up for it and difficult to break down.
Despite the result it was a great effort from Anthony Rideout and the 'squad' to wrap up the league with a game to spare last Sunday.

Knights Reserves went into their last game a little nervy requiring a win but jumped out of the gates firing taking the lead after just 2 minutes when Georgios Economou sccored the first of his 5 goals for the day making it 24 goals from just 8 games(the league missed awarding one of his earlier goals)... including 5 hat-tricks..Jack Heaven added a goal to see Knights Reserves as convincing winners on the day and Sunday Division 2B League Champions.
Like the As however, the Reserves success has been down to having a strong squad and fresh legs on the bench.
Congratulations to Richard Finlayson for pushing the lads past the post.

🏆🏆 What a year, some great and welcome new faces mixed in with older heads and enjoyable training 'knights'.
Special thank you to those that helped out running the line especially Richard Finlayson wearing the Marshalls vests, Brenton Hawkins, Mick Giblin, Colin MacPherson, getting the corner flags and scoreboard numbers in after the home games.
Justin and Courtney Moule for helping with washing Reserves strips. Sam, Griffin, Tara and Sally for helping set up the after game food.
Great to see all the players partners and the kids around the place enjoying themselves.
Lastly, the faithful and supportive sponsors that allow Knights to pursue their Quest.

🏆 Congratulations and well done to Anthony Rideout and the boys in securing an historic, first ever SAASL Sunday Division 2 Champions title for Southern Knights with one last home game to play this Sunday.
A convincing 4-1 home win over Parafield Gardens with 2 goals apiece from Tom Briscoe and Kian Taka and an all-round classy team performance.
The celebrations which included more gymnastic flips than the last Olympics, went on until 2a.m. at the Club.
Meanwhile, the Reserves continued their Quest to stay atop of the table with a huge 6-2 win. Georgios Economou bagged 4 goals to make his personal tally 18 goals from just 7 games. Bill Torut added another and Jem Simper-Brown came off the bench to add a goal with his first touch.
It's now all up to the Reserves in their last 2026 league game against Elizabeth Vale to keep their grip on the top spot.
