Registration for the Lower Northern Foundation Cup is open until the 11th of April.

If you live in the red shaded area you are eligible to trial. A more detailed, interactive map is available upon request.

Registration must be completed to be able to trial.

**Clare Tournament Announcement**

In conjunction with Tennis SA, I have made the difficult decision to postpone the tournament until Sunday March 22nd. This decision was made as the forecast for Sunday in Clare is for 15 - 30mm of rain with rain forecast also Saturday night and Monday, indicating it may be an all day rain event. Given there are a lot of players travelling, I wanted to make an early call to ensure travel amendments can be made.

I have adjusted the withdrawal date on the tournament website to 15th of March so that if you are unable to make the new tournament date, you will be refunded your tournament fee.

Clare Tournament is the opening for Foundation Cup this year. It’s a requirement to play if you’d like to trial - if you’re unable to make it please let me know. Anyone from any area is able to play even if you’re not wanting to trial!

Beginner and intermediate hotshot lessons are open for registrations for Term 1!

Lessons will commence in Week 2 and run for 8 weeks.

I am so proud to be top 3 in Australia. The competitor in me is so disappointed. The realist in me is so proud. I don’t work for recognition.
Sam 10 years ago and Sam 5 years ago would be proud of the Sam now. Finding ways to be better and grow the sport more. I remain humble. I was the only regional coach in the mix. I will continue to advocate for regional coaches. My motivation for coaching was to give regional children opportunities I never had. I am so proud of the opportunities regional kids have now. I will continue to work hard. I will continue to provide opportunities for all kids. I am proud of me. I am proud to represent regional families. I am proud of where I’ve come from and I am proud of where I am going. I am 29 and I was the youngest nominee for coaching at the Australian Tennis Awards. That’s something to be proud of. Thank you for being apart of my journey.

I am filled with so much pride to announce I am a finalist for Coaching Excellence - Club at this year’s Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards night. It will be held in Melbourne on December 8th.

Being recognised on a national stage is incredibly humbling as I know how many terrific coaches are doing amazing work in their communities.

This recognition is so much bigger than just me and should be celebrated by all the coaches, clubs, associations, schools and families I work with. I am incredibly excited to represent you all.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support of regional tennis and beyond.
