Scuba Diving Tasmania

I’ve been diving the Diverite Chest Mount CCR for a few years now.

The Choptima is great option if you are thinking about a CCR.

Firstly it’s packed up travel weight is only ~6.5kg. It can literally go in you hand luggage.
It clips to the front of whatever scuba equipment you all ready have.
You can dive it with a standard open circuit single tank, sidemount or back mount twins.

It’s at a great price point as well.

Thanks Marc Crane for your passion towards continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and presenting real scenarios. Reacting the right way is important when things go wrong in the water on a CCR; it is literally life or death.
Congratulations to Emlyn Jones for completing his Mixed Gas Diver (MOD2) on the rEvo and thanks Marc for lifting me to that level as an MOD 2 Instructor.

Congrats to Sam Scheske Neil Douglas & Noah Murphy for finishing their TDI rEvo CCR Helitrox Course on the weekend. We finished up diving Deep Glen Bay, the 'Monument' and the SS Nord wreck in beautiful winter conditions on the Tasman Peninsula with Eaglehawk Dive Centre.

Both Neil and Noah did 2 hours in the pool before over 8 hours in the ocean mastering skills. Sam upgraded from 30mtr Air Diluent.
Enjoy nice long dives on the many spectacular reefs we have here in Tasmania in the 30-45mtr depth range guys!

rEvo Rebreathers Tasmanian Technical Divers

A nice day out today with some new rEvo CCR divers Neil Douglas, Noah Murphy and Sam Scheske doing their 45mtr Helitrox Deco Course.

Looking forward to some nice dives to finish off tomorrow.

Another great start to a rEvo Helitrox CCR course today with Noah and Neil.
After a few hours of theory last week we spent the morning building the units and then hit the pool for a few hours.

Congratulations to Noah Murphy, Neil Douglas, Leah Soo and Pauline Nuttens for completing their combined TDI Sidemount / Andanced Nitrox / Deco Procedures Course today with Ben Nuttens and myself.

We finished all off with a lovely 45mtr dive with Black Coral, a curious seal, great sponge gardens and lots of fish!
