A founding club of the WAFLW. Offering Rogers Cup and Senior women's football. Go Tigers! In 2006 moves were made to affiliate with the Claremont Tigers.
The Piranhas were one of the four inaugural teams in the WA Women’s Football League competition that began in 1988. Originally all teams in the competition were affiliated with amateur men’s football clubs. This arrangement continued for a few years until the women's team decided to go it alone. A heartbreaking end to our 2026 WAFLW season. 💔
A huge three goal effort in the final quarter sent the game into overtime, but a late Sharks goal brought our dream of a threepeat to an end.
It hurts, but it doesn’t take away from what this group has achieved. We couldn’t be prouder of our girls and the tremendous season they’ve put together.
Thank you to everyone who supported us every step of the way.
We’ll be back. See you in 2027. 🐯💛

This weekend, Jacinta Valentini becomes the first Claremont player to reach 100 WAFLW games for the Tigers. 💙💛
After playing 10 league games for West Perth in 2018, Cint arrived at Claremont in 2019 and has since built an incredible legacy. This weekend will mark her 110th league game across the WAWFL/WAFLW.
A two-time WAFLW premiership player, state representative and 2022 Reserves premiership player, Cint was also recently named in Claremont’s Women’s Team of the Double Decade.
A wonderful teammate and a true Claremont person, Cint’s contribution to the Tigers extends well beyond her games on the field. In recognition of that contribution, she will become the first WAFLW player since Charmie and Robbo to be awarded life membership of the Club.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 season for our Rogers Cup team!
We couldn’t be prouder of our girls and the way they represented the Tigers, fighting hard and giving their all right until the very end.
A huge thank you to all the parents, siblings, friends, volunteers and sponsors who supported our team throughout the season. We couldn’t have done it without you!
