St Virgil's College will again offer our students the opportunity to participate in this year's Schools Triathlon Challenge, to be held at Bellerive Beach on December 3 (High School) and December 4 (Primary School). Information for Senior School students was recently sent home via EdSmart.

Diabetes Australia are again partnering with the Schools Triathlon to support over 1.5 million Australians living with diabetes, helping fund life-changing research, education, and advocacy.

Team sVc has set up a fundraising page as part of the triathlon, and we will now go into the running to win a $10,000 cash prize to support our school sporting programs and equipment.

So sign up now to represent Team sVc (return entry forms to the Main Office) and kick-start your fundraising efforts.

The College's fundraising page link is below, or scan the QR code.

Students may also like to create their own fundraising page, which they can share with family and friends, and any donations they receive on their individual page will add to the school total. The more students we have fundraising, the greater the chance of winning one of the amazing prizes.

Appreciation post for the incredible group of fourteen Year 9 students who stepped up to serve as AFL umpires during yesterday's SPSSA Representative Winter Football Carnival held at Cadbury's Ovals.

The feedback the College received from players, coaches, and parents alike was overwhelmingly positive. Every member of this impressive team handled their responsibilities—whether as field, boundary, or goal umpires—with remarkable poise and professionalism. Their enthusiasm and commitment to the game truly shone through, making a significant impact on the event.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to Garry Dunne from Umpire AFL Tasmania for the invaluable training he provided last term, as well as for his ongoing support and guidance throughout the day.

Well done, boys! Your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed.
