Just when everyone thought gold would keep going up during a war it sells off hard.

This is why we were warning people not to get too exuberant as these are the times it changes trend.

Even in this crashing price people are convinced it is going to bounce back quick. In our opinion if it is going to turn around it won’t be until most have given up thinking it will, we could be a long way from that.

Chris Bogusis reiterating caution on going in too heavy into precious metals with the latest hype. Gold and silver are long term holds especially given its recent rise. Anything that goes up this quick has an increased possibility to go down quick so consider this when investing. That’s right!

Gold is currently sitting at $6,874 per troy ounce. Or at around $220aud per gram.

Theres a lot of hype around this, for Australians waiting for it to tip the $7k mark, for the USA waiting for it to tip the $5k mark, and miners and prospectors cashing in on their trade.

But a little caution, what goes up, must come down. In the near term a pull back in price is likely, almost certain. Never invest what you dont have to lose. Gold and silver are not short term investments, at least not historically.

Enjoy the ride guys. Just keep your eyes on the future for the price. 10+ years is where you want to focus, not next week.

Loosing more and more GPA access by the day.

The latest casualty is McDonalds flats in Clermont, the northern side of the road is now off limits. According to sources the southern side of the road is going soon also. If you update your mining leases on Trilobite you can see the extent of the area.

Fingers crossed that we get more access that can be exclusive to us hobbyists.

Hi everybody. Just a quick note about the current price of gold which is causing a bit of hype.

When prices are going up so quickly it is easy to concede that it will keep going up. We can be convinced of many reasons as to why it will continue. While this is still most probable over the long term, anything that goes up this quick on hype is susceptible to at least a slow down or even a pull back in the short to medium term.

Nobody knows when the run higher in prices will be over, however generally the average person listening to the hype and making poor decisions haven’t faired well in the past. I’m not saying this is the end of the rising prices but one should never get caught up in the hype and make poor desisions.
