Bring water, sunnies, towel, hat, sunscreen, footwear and swimmers.

Paddles and life jackets are all supplied.

Hey Brissi!!! I want your lil minions… and their friends 😂 (ages 5–10yo)

MINNOWS AGE GROUP:
Turning 5 in 2026 (Jan–Dec)
Up to turning 10 in 2026 (Jan–Dec)

🚫 Turning 4 in 2026 – a bit too young (non-compliant stage 😅)
➡️ Turning 11 in 2026 – they move up to J12s

How it works:
Teams usually have 5 paddlers with a passive steerer (experienced steerer 14yo+)

Start date will be this Saturday!

The kids will be learning:
🌊 How to paddle
🛟 Water safety
☀️ Sun safety

…all while we try to get them to listen with the decorations they were born with 👂👂

However whanau water safety and sun safety definitely starts with you. Keep an eye on them even when they're with their coach, make sure they have sunscreen on, make sure they have water and are clothed appropriately including footwear.

I would like to extend this invitation out to any new 10 to 12 year olds who still want/need to learn or have never paddled before.

I think I look forward to seeing all your minions on the water this weekend 🤣 😱😎😍

Didn't we have a cool day on the weekend.!!! Our "Come and TRI series" has come to an end 😩 But don't worry there will be more 😁

Ages 5 and Up (way up to like 150yrs old) There are still opportunities to give Outrigging a go 🙌🙌🙌 Drop a comment or a DM of you missed out and still want to try 👍👍👍
