Good news … small drainage bridge damaged during recent slashing of easement on Luge has been repaired.
Some clearing of hanging trees and tall grasses has also been completed for a safer experience for users.
Enjoy.

Great news, after some time the bridge on Candy has been repaired and inspected.
The bridge had a brace broken by a large branch that flowed under during last year’s cyclone.

😎 The weather for this weekend is looking considerably better than last weekend, still you need to take care while out and about.
🚲 Tracks, trails, parks and playgrounds across Redlands Coast are still being assessed for safety issues and cleared of hazards in the wake of Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
🌳 There are reports of fallen trees and hanging branches that pose a safety risk, and the recent rain has left the trails wet and muddy.
❌ All tracks and trails remain closed for everyone’s safety. Avoid using these areas until they are declared safe.
⚠️ We advise caution when visiting Council’s parks, playgrounds and other open spaces.
👷♂️ Council crews will continue working to get our public spaces reopened as soon as possible and will provide updates as progress is made.

Shouldn’t need saying but please don’t explore our tracks and trails to survey the damage. Many small dry crossings are going to be flooded, soils soft, trees down and risk of trees and limbs falling on you in this wind. Council has mentioned that parks and reserves are closed. Stay safe everyone.

Hi RTP friends
Happy New Year, and a long time between posts for me. I’ve taken a purposeful break over the last six months.
RTP Trailcare hasn’t been informed officially, but fortunately we found through a media release.
But apparently the trails are open. Take care with any soft areas and fallen trees or branches.
Let us know of any issue and I will see what will be required to action any remediation.
Note: The Trailcare hasn’t been allowed to enter RTP during the closure to make an expert assessment, so I will be relying on any feedback.
Happy Days
Cheers

I have heard unofficially that there is some work going on this week at the bottom of Luge and on Anti Gravity so please avoid trails in this specific location as I understand it will be blocked off whilst the work is being undertaken.
