WE’RE HIRING! ⚽

Bowden Football is looking for a passionate and experienced Academy Football (Soccer) Coach to join our growing team!

We’re looking for someone with a strong football background, excellent technical ability and a passion for developing young players.

Role Details:
📍 Redcliffe, Brisbane
⏰ 6–15 hours per week
📅 Weekday afternoons, with optional weekend opportunities
⚽ Delivering technical player development sessions

This is a great opportunity to join a growing academy and play an important role in developing the next generation of footballers.

Due to a couple of late changes, we’re looking to add two goalkeepers across our Academy League squads:

• U12 Goalkeeper
• U14 Goalkeeper

We have multiple teams competing across both age groups in the QLD Academy League, with weekly training and Sunday match days over the competition period.

A great opportunity for a goalkeeper looking to join a strong development environment and get plenty of game time.

Bowden Football x Horizon HPS

We’re excited to be teaming up with Horizon HPS to provide Bowden players with weekly football-specific athlete development sessions.

The program is designed to help players improve their:
• Sprint technique
• Power
• Strength
• Movement quality
• Injury resilience

Sessions will focus on movements that directly transfer to football performance, while also helping players reduce the risk of common football injuries and stay on the pitch consistently.
All sessions will be delivered by Horizon’s highly qualified and experienced High Performance Strength & Conditioning coaches.

U8–U11
Fridays | 5:50pm–6:35pm
Starting 16 October
7-week program

U12–U15
Mondays | 6:50pm–7:35pm
Starting 12 October
7-week program

We’re hiring!

Bowden Football is looking for a reliable, energetic and confident Community Football (Soccer) Coach to join our growing coaching team.

The role primarily involves delivering our school programs across Brisbane’s northside, generally between 2:00pm–4:00pm on weekdays during school terms.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with children
• Is confident leading groups
• Is reliable, punctual and energetic
• Has football (soccer) playing or coaching experience
• Holds a current Blue Card
• Has a valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

There will also be opportunities for additional coaching work within Bowden Football as we continue to grow.
