Hi Followers. Will be putting up a new World Team page shortly and will post the link. The boys have their first game right now against the South Pacific team. Go Vics, Go the World team.

McLaren to put on a footy show BENDIGO young gun Tensae McLaren is one of six Victorian football players to be selected in the 2014 World Team.

A huge congratulations to the five players from the Victorian AFL All Nations Team; Tensae, CJ, Dae, Mading, Temoe and Bol, who have been selected to play in the AFL Multicultural WORLD TEAM. The boys will be coached by two legends of the game, David Rodan and Anthony Koutafidis when they compete in Queensland early in July 2014. We wish them all the very best and know they will represent not only their respective home sides, but also all aspiring young multicultural AFL players throughout Victoria. GO VICS, GO the WORLD TEAM!

Two former players from Victoria's AFL All Nation Team, recently met on the paddock, but this time on opposite sides. In a thrilling game, Eaglehawk took on and defeated Castlemaine in Round 3 of the Bendigo Junior Football League competition. Unfortunately Tensae's new hairstyle did nothing to help him bring his team to victory and Pat's team reigned supreme.

On behalf of the players and, in particular, the parents of the players of the 2014 Victorian side, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the AFL, David Rodan, Xavier Moloney, Bobby Lee Blay and Shaggy Bol, for their care, diligence and professionalism whilst in charge of the boys in Coffs Harbour.
The manner in which they treated the boys and the rapport that they built with them over the course of the Championships was testament to the success of the team overall. It was fantastic to come away with the Premiership but win, lose or draw, the life lessons that the boys have experienced will stand them in good stead to continue to be great ambassadors for their home teams and birth counties for many years to come.

Well done on being fantastic ambassadors for not only the AFL and Victoria, but also your respective birth countries. Spread the word and help make AFL a truly international game that values diversity and culture. GO VICS!
