Nondies Cohuna Cricket Club is excited to welcome Anton Kopec for the 2026/27 season.

Hailing from the Mornington Peninsula, Anton joins us after a huge six months of cricket in the UK, racking up 896 runs, following 499 runs in Australia last summer.

A right-handed top-order batsman who can also contribute with his right-arm pace, Anton arrives in outstanding form and will add plenty to our senior squad this summer.

At just 22, we're excited to see what Anton can produce in Nondies Cohuna colours this season.

We have had to make some changes to last weeks planned calendar. We have brought forward our club night to this coming Thursday. We will see our U/13s and U/15s have their first night of training at the first oval nets. U/17s and seniors at MVP Feeds Oval nets. All teams will completed by 6pm and have BBQ tea and refreshments.

The Get Active Kids Voucher Program is open.

Get in quick as applications for a voucher close 10am Tuesday, 13 October or earlier if the budget allocation is fully exhausted.

Victorian families with a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card can apply for up to $200 to support their child’s sport and active recreation activities.

Plenty happening over the next month 😳

Starting this week with senior and Under 17s training resuming tomorrow from the 1st Oval Nets. Time to get there and start ramping up the preparation.

Friday we require some help setting up for Bonbeach, Beaconsfield, Point Cook and Melton Cricket Clubs who are visiting for the weekend. Even if you could give 15 mins its appreciated.

Outside of cricket, Saturday sees our friends the Cohuna Kangas Football Netball Club into the Grand Final at Swan Hill in both senior football and netball. Good luck to everyone involved, exciting time for our town and community.

Here we go…🏏

Midweek training kicks off tomorrow from 5pm for Under 17s and senior players. The Under 17 will train the next two weeks with the senior group before transitioning to their own sessions. We welcome all new, current and players to come along.

All players of all ages are welcome to attend.

MVP FEEDS OVAL

You may have already seen the sign, but we’re pleased to officially announce that the Second Oval at the Cohuna Recreation Reserve will be named MVP Feeds Oval for the 2026/27 season.

MVP Feeds have been a Major Sponsor of Nondies Cohuna for more than 14 years, and have continued their support this season by taking on the naming rights of the second oval.

Their support over the years has been important to our club and its fantastic to see the signage displayed prominently upon entry to our home ground.
