HOLE #14.Golfers - Hold your golf clubs! 🤔
Notice something a little different out on the course? That circular patch of turf is a temporary green, and while it is currently marked as Ground Under Repair (GUR), it won't stay that way for long!

This patch of turf will only go live once construction officially begins on the 14th Green redevelopment.

The Good News:
It plays 50 metres shorter.
Your slice might actually find the green
It’s still a Par 5, has the same index, and requires the same maths.

Keep your eyes peeled for more updates as the redevelopment gets underway.

Top seed Dean Hutchinson has played his way into the 2026 Captain’s Trophy Final, where he will take on August Medal winner Matt Warton.
Both players play off the same GA Handicap of 9.2, so no strokes will be given — it’s all square and ready for a great final! 🔥

CONGRATULATIONS HUNTER TOGNI! ⛳
Colac Golf Club golfer Hunter Togni is selected in the 2026 Country Week SWGA Men’s Team! 👏

The South West Golf Association (SWGA) has announced its Men’s and Women’s teams for the 2026 Golf Australia Country Week Teams’ Matches, to be held at Ballarat Golf Club, Buninyong Golf Club and Midlands Golf Club Event takes place Monday 14 – Wednesday 16 September 2026

Both the SWGA Men’s and Women’s teams will compete in Division 1, under new team managers Shelley Clarke and Tybin Lawson.

Country Week brings together golf districts from across Victoria for three days of scratch match play, with both the Men’s and Women’s competitions contested across three divisions.

Good luck to Hunter and the entire SWGA Men’s and Women’s teams! We’ll be cheering you on from Colac.
