What a crew! 🙌

Here’s 17 of the amazing women who completed the challenge at our break up dinner on Friday.

8 weeks of showing up, putting in the work, supporting each other and making some pretty awesome changes along the way.

We’re so proud of every single one of you. ❤️

Something I notice…

New members who ask for help early in their journey progress faster and with fewer bad habits!

There’s no prize for figuring everything out the on your own.

Just ask for help or how to do the exercise.

Shout out to Red Door Dance & Theatre Co for such a great production of & Juliet.

What a great performance from everyone involved, the dancers, singers, performers and back stage staff were fantastic in creating this masterpiece.

It was also pretty impressive seeing how much work goes on behind the curtains and back stage to put something like this together.

Our kids thought it was pretty cool to see people they know performing on stage.

A massive well done to Zoe 🙋🏻‍♀️ and everyone involved, both on stage and behind the scenes. You should all be really proud of what you put together.

We all really enjoyed it!

After 15 years of watching people start their gym journey, here’s what I wish I could tell every beginner.

*Almost no one feels ready on day one.

*The people who change the most are usually the ones who started while they still felt awkward and unsure.

*Having confidence isn’t something you wait for, it’s something you build by showing up.

*Every person you see training comfortably in the gym, once felt exactly like you do now.

Stop waiting to feel ready. Start while you still feel unsure, commit to a couple of sessions per week to begin with.

The hardest part of starting at the gym isn’t the workout.

It’s walking through the door for the first time.

If you’re someone who has been thinking about getting started but keep putting it off, here’s what you’re missing out on.

1. CONFIDENCE

You don’t need confidence before you start.

You build it by showing up, doing something you’re not used to and realising you actually CAN do it.

2. ENERGY

It sounds silly, but moving your body more will actually help you feel more energetic.

You don’t have to smash yourself in the gym, just getting moving is the win.

3. STRENGTH

Not just for lifting weights at the gym.

For carrying the shopping.
Playing with your kids.
Getting up and down from the floor.
Walking the stairs.

Being strong makes everyday life and tasks so much easier.

4. COMMUNITY

You might walk through the door thinking everyone is looking at you.

They’re not.

People are focused on their own workout and you will find that the people here are much more welcoming than you expected.

5. A DIFFERENT VERSION OF YOU

This is the best one. You’re not just working towards a different body.

You’re working towards becoming stronger, fitter, more confident and more capable.

In six months from now, you might look back and wonder why you waited so long.

Take the first step, walk through those doors.
