Hello, everyone. Just a "quick" update!

As some of you may know, I'm currently out of action while my wife and I await the imminent arrival of our newest, little family member 🐥 🍼

Even so, the team are still putting in the work while I'm away as we look forward to competing in the QBJJC Townsville Championship, a local amateur BJJ tournament, this coming October. I must say, I'm very proud of both the team's development and their dedication. No matter the outcome, I'm sure they'll be doing a great job when the time comes.

Until I'm back, though, classes will be ad-hoc and for/run by existing members. Unless you have previous experience, we won't be accepting new additions to the team but look forward to doing so again hopefully in a few weeks!

Hey, team. Jiu-jitsu can teach you to protect yourself from a lot of things, but one thing it can't do much for is what some are correctly calling the Scottville Flu. You win this time, germs.

At any rate, no class tomorrow. Stay safe out there and wash your hands. Also, don't do crime.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who has supported us over our first year! A particular thank-you goes out to the folks at the CNC and everyone who has or continues to train with us! There wouldn't be a club without you! I've seen so much progress already and can't wait to see what we can achieve together in the next twelve months!
