Great weekend of tennis with a number of pennants on Friday night and Saturday, building on the success of the mid week ladies.
For Juniors, out of the 3 Friday Night, 3 Sat Yellow ball, 1 Green ball, and SDTA Div 4 Women (so 8 finalists), we had 4 make it to Grand Final and 3 Premierships and the one that lost GF drew on sets and games, drew 1st doubles tiebreak 7-9,7-5 so 14 each, and lost second doubles tiebreaks.
Given the A1 boys were regraded from A2 mid-season and didn't carry any points with them, made the finals with a last minor round win, knocked of the top of the ladder to win semi, and took the GF to a 2nd group of doubles tiebreaks, I think they also deserve an honourable mention!
In Metro Lawn, D2 lost a tight one but we saluted in D1 and mixed doubles who beat another Reade Park team in a close one.
