Congratulations to all our students who successfully completed their Term 3 grading!

I hope this grading was a valuable opportunity to reflect on your progress, recognise how much you have improved, and identify the areas where you can continue to grow.

Remember, every grading is not just about achieving a new belt, but also it is time for reflection of yourselves.

Well done, everyone! Let's keep training hard, improving ourselves, and finish the year strong!

KUMMOOYEH GRADING

On Saturday, we held our Kummooyeh Grading at Jinmoo KMA.

Everyone gave their best and showed the skills they have developed through consistent training.

Training with a sword requires a unique balance β€” the mind must stay highly focused, while the body needs to remain relaxed, smooth and fast without unnecessary tension. It is not easy, but you are all making great progress.

Congratulations to everyone who completed the grading.
You all did amazing! Well done! πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

National Division 1 Championships

We are proud to share the achievements of our Jinmoo athletes at the National Division 1 Championships held in Perth last weekend.

Ryan, Emma and Aleena represented UNSW, while Vanessa represented UTS.

Ryan – WT Male Team Bronze πŸ₯‰
Emma – Individual Bronze πŸ₯‰ & WT Female Team Silver πŸ₯ˆ
Vanessa – Freestyle Poomsae Gold πŸ₯‡
Aleena – Kyorugi Bronze πŸ₯‰

What made this competition especially meaningful was their willingness to challenge themselves outside their usual disciplines. A Kyorugi athlete stepped into Poomsae, while Poomsae athletes challenged themselves in Kyorugi and Freestyle Poomsae. Through these experiences, they continue to grow into more complete martial artists.

We are also proud to see athletes who began Taekwondo as children now representing their universities as young adults. Taekwondo has become more than a sport they once did it has become part of their lives.

Youth is not only about age. As long as we have the courage to try something new and the desire to keep learning and improving, we can always carry a youthful spirit.

Keep challenging. Keep learning. Keep growing. πŸ₯‹

Congratulations Ryan, Emma, Vanessa and Aleena!

Jinmoo Father’s Day Challenge 2026 Highlight!

Thanks to the wonderful participation and support of our Jinmoo dads, we successfully wrapped up our very first Father’s Day event!

We truly appreciate every dad who took time out of their busy schedule to join the challenge and give it their best.

One dad laughed and said, β€œI used to be really fit when I was younger… I’ve taken too long a break from exercise!” But he still gave it everything he had. 😊

Another dad came to participate but had to leave after receiving an urgent call from work. Later, he even sent me a message through his wife apologising that he couldn’t take part.

It was a small moment, but it reminded me of the responsibilities and hard work that come with being a father.

Every Jinmoo dad is a hero to their family.
We’ll always be cheering you on!

We’ll continue working hard to make Jinmoo a dojang where the whole family can share great experiences and create special memories together.

Thank you for your support, and we hope all our Jinmoo dads had a wonderful Father’s Day!

Here are the highlights from our Jinmoo Father’s Day Challenge 2026!
