🔥 How good is this! Congratulations to both teams on being recognised for an outstanding Game of the Round. The skill, determination and sportsmanship displayed by everyone made it a game to remember

⚾ It was a tight contest early on, with Concord leading 2–1 after the second innings. Quinn from Concord got things going with a home run in the first innings!

Concord gradually extended their lead, moving to 5–1 in the third innings, 6–2 in the fourth and finishing with an 11–4 win after five innings.

If you're already missing Comets baseball, the MLB Postseason is in full swing, featuring some of the game's biggest stars, including RHBL’s own Travis Bazzana, who’s making his mark on the biggest stage.

Enjoy the break, watch plenty of baseball, keep the glove handy, and we’ll see you all back on the diamonds soon! ⚪️🔴⚫️⚾

Comets SD1 Vs Stealers 11.09.26

Our favourite season - baseball season - has officially begun! The SD1 Comets faced off against the Stealers at Majors Bay to mark the start of the 2026 baseball season…

Iven threw the first pitch for the Comets and was solid on the mound, with Elias great behind the plate. Our opponents managed a few home to set the stage for what was always going to be a challenge for the Comets, disadvantaged by one man down. Having only 8 players also resulted in an automatic out each at bat.

Quin opened the batting for the Comets with a lovely line drive, marking the start of a sensational night of batting for our SD1 team.

The chill in the air did nothing to subdue the heat the Comets brought as they made it count at the plate. The boys lit up with sky with bomb after bomb. Ethan was unlucky to be caught. Jake looked good at bat. Iven, Roy, Josh and Chace all smashed doubles! Roy very nearly delivered a triple! Impressive contact right through the line up.

There was plenty to like about the Comets SD1 opening home game with the team taking the win 10-7. Let’s go!
