Having only one arm was never going to stop Gary skipping again.
After watching a YouTube clip of a young girl skipping with only one arm and a ball, stick and rope, Gary want to give it a go.
Making his own modified skipping rope, this is his first attempt.
Awesome job Gary you make it look easy.
Peter Smith Personal Trainer
My journey toward regaining my health and fitness started 10 years ago when I was 107kg.
Commencing a long, hard journey I started to become educated about foods, taking a holistic approach to training. Having become a fully qualified personal trainer I have moved my focus to completing my Diploma of Naturopathy. Coming from a background of obesity, I have a passion for helping people to lose weight. More importantly than helping people achieve weight loss, I pride myself on giving pe

I joined ifitness gym around 2 years ago. Although happy with classes offered, I always wondered about the uses of different machines. Also being a shorter female I wanted to know which machines were suitable and necessary for my physique. So I reached out to Jo and am so glad I found her.
From day one, she has been nothing short of amazing. She not only answered my questions but continuously brings new exercises to each work out, making them entertaining and a challenge. All the while she is always there with words of encouragement to help me get the most out of every session. From my standpoint it really meant a lot that she took the time to listen and help me better understand things. This was especially important when it came correcting my form during workouts and helping me realize the areas of my body where I needed to become stronger. She has an incredible foundation of knowledge, really cares and wants her clients to succeed! I have greatly increased strength and would definitely recommend her as the best Personal Trainer in the area .
Gary has all the excuses not to come in and train at the gym. But yet, 5 weeks after having life saving surgery here he is smashing it! What's your excuse?

Michael and Katrina Foster
Hi………Michael and Kate Foster here.
We would like to tell you about our weight loss journey which started at the end of November 2020. One morning my Kate and I looked at each other and decided we wanted to do something about our weight to improve our health. I had a bad heart and Kate a bad Knee. I weighed 122 kg and Kate weighed 116 kg.
For the first month, we modified our eating and used some meal replacement products. We then joined Ifitness at Coolalinga where we initially attended about 5 days a week then increased to 7 days. For the first 7 months, we mainly did cardio sessions.
Whilst at the gym we observed Peter Smith (Personal Trainer) and his co-trainer Jo Rogers training regular gym clients. Seeing the results these clients were achieving we thought it would be beneficial for our weight loss journey to obtain some professional advice and engage them for some training sessions. We set up and an initial session to discuss how our journey might look and how to achieve it. After that, I trained with Peter and Kate trained with Jo.
We set ourselves a goal in life and with the support of Peter and Jo we are confident in continuing our journey in health and fitness. They are very approachable, understanding and always encouraging. They respect and listen to our opinions, concerns and questions and fit the training to our individual needs. We would recommend Peter and Jo to anyone who wants to improve their health. Their approach is very rounded and incorporates mindset and food choices as well as exercise. Peter has many years of experience in the industry, which he is now passing on to Jo.
It is never too late to change what you want out of life; you just have to have a positive attitude and confidence in yourself. I have lost over 40 kg and Kate has lost over 35 kg. With our weight loss and increased energy levels, we have amazed ourselves with what we can do now. We are a lot fitter and have done things we thought we would never be able to do; it is such an incredible feeling.
We hope we have motivated you into trying to improve your mental and physical health. Please feel free to come and chat with Kate and I about our weight loss journey or contact Peter Smith or Jo Rogers at the I-Fitness Coolalinga.
This is a story about a girl called Annie. Annie doesn't mind me telling you that in May she turns sixty one. Annie has never been overly fond of push ups in fact you could say she avoided them but such is her nature when i mentioned to her that it's a thing, that each birthday to measure if your fitness levels are right then you should be able to do one push up for each year you have been alive. Now I didnt mention that it is really only my idea of this being a thing ... so Annie has been preparing for her upcoming birthday by training everyday with as many pushups as she can this is a peek at her progress 4 weeks in
We all suffer from one of two pains, the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.
The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tonnes.
I still have limited availability during business hours. If this suits you, I’d love to hear from you!

For some people, changing their life is not so much a decision they make, as much as it is just the circumstances they find themselves in. For me it was those circumstances, where I was just sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. When I saw a good friend of mine WIN a body transformation competition in his 50s it made me realise that I could do that! I started training with him and soon realized that I didn't have to live the way I was.
Sometimes you create change, and sometimes change creates you..

Since Bonnie has been training with me, life for her has changed. She has become stronger physically and mentally. When we start training, we all look in the mirror for the changes that invariably come with the hard work and sacrifice. In Bonnies case she does see the changes in her body but just as important as those visible changes are the invisible ones, the feeling that she now lives her life comes with a sense of control and strength that allows an understanding of purpose and happiness. She told me that she stepped up on the front step at her place when she got home from her gym session the other day without a second thought about doing it where as before it was difficult and a little daunting. The invisible results she gets from training are by far the most life changing to her. Maybe we can all learn from this amazing wonderful woman!
