Dedicated to Tournament Skiing in Southern QLD. Organising body for Slalom, Trick & Jump Events across Southern QLD.

WaterskiQLD is a not for profit organisation, affiliated to the Australian Waterski and Wakeboard Federation and dedicated to Tournament Waterskiing in Queensland. We have around 400 members and approximately 50% of those competed in Southern Region Tournaments during last season. The Southern Region Committee does not only organise Tournaments. We also invest time and money in growing the sport of Tournament Waterskiing across Southern QLD with ‘Come & Try’ days, ‘Development’ days, and Junior Ski Schools at various sites during the season. Our aim is to develop the sport and encourage people of all ages to get involved.

Three Events, Pick-And-Choose
Maximum of six rounds total
Maximum of 4 rounds for a single event
(Division 6 limited to 2 rounds)

Presentation Night for 25 /26 Season Awards & AGM
6pm, Saturday 10th October 2026
Criterion Hotel, Helidon.
(Meals to be pre-ordered by Wednesday 30th September. Payment direct to the Criterion Hotel on the night.)

*** REMINDER you must have renewed your WAWA Membership for this season to compete in this tournament ***

Camping is available at a cost of $10 per person per night. Can be paid direct to the Appleton family on the weekend.

Double Cut Diner will be serving burgers, snacks, coffee and cold drinks all weekend.

WSQ Southern Region & Perseverance Aquatic Club
are conducting a ski school at Lake Perseverance on
26th / 27th September 2026.

This is a rare opportunity to learn from world class coaches and some of the best water skiers on the world stage. Coaching will be available for slalom and trick skiers of all ability levels.

There is no cost to attend, but skiers will require membership of Waterski and Wakeboard Australia (WAWA). A social membership can be obtained for $26 at https://www.awwf.com.au/membership/
