Established in 1897, the Cooma Cricket Club in North East Victoria, is a long standing and inclusive community cricket club that competes in the Goulburn Murray Cricket Association.

Massive shoutout to committee members and club supporters who helped out during the week. Many hours went into preparing the facilities and preparing food for the Carlton players. Cooma Cricket Club greatly appreciate those who gave their time 💙

Tomorrow we welcome Carlton Cricket Club to Cooma for their pre-season hit out. A great day of cricket to watch, play commences at 10am both days.

Cooma Cricket Club are excited to welcome Heather back for her second season in two blues colours. After joining us last season from Clifton Hill CC, Heather quickly became a much valued member of our cricket club community, joining our social committee and becoming a strong contributor with club events.

Heather offers a reliable option with ball in hand, bowling 25 overs last season for 9 wickets with an average of 13.22. Her stand out game of the season came out of Moama with 3-28. We look forward to seeing what Heather can produce in two blues colours this season!

👑 The King Returns 👑

Cooma Cricket Club are excited to welcome Steve Barrett back to the home of cricket. Steve is one of the greats of our proud club, playing many years previously in our A grade team. Steve was and still is known in the GMC for his explosive ball striking and fast hands behind the stumps. Steve’s records speak for themself, being a multiple time A grade centurion in the two blues colours.

One of the greatest memories Steve has given the Cooma CC occurred in the 22/23 season when blasting 126 off just 52 balls in an A Grade T20 match to beat Kyabram. This century included fifteen 6’s to all parts of the ground, a true display of his hitting power. Cooma are beyond excited to welcome Steve back to the two blues and can’t wait to see what he can produce this season!

Dust off the pads, training is back! Sunday 6th September, 11am at the Cooma Recreation Reserve!!

A working bee will take place at 10am to get our facilities looking sharp for the season, any extra hands would be appreciated!

The Moose returns 🫎

Jake Moore recommits for another season! Last years C Grade Captain and C Grade Champion Player pulls on the two blue colours for another season.

Jake became an integral part of our players group last season, joining us from Echuca South and taking on the captaincy in his first season. Jake had a terrific season in blue, taking 19 wickets including 2x 5 wicket hauls (5/33 and 5/22). A much loved player in such little time spent at our proud club, we are excited to watch Moose put on a show for another season.
