Build something together.

HVS hosts its own locked Minecraft server in Australia, with a mentor alongside the group.

Players can create assets in Blockbench or Blender, then import them into the server to test, try and trade in-game. Shared adventures and raids bring trading, teamwork and communication together. Everyone also has their own building space, with optional simple commands to explore as an introduction to coding—or simply enjoy creating.

Weekday sessions run for two hours and can start with two players alongside one mentor. Weekend groups need three to four players per mentor. We try to match players into age-appropriate groups and discuss interests, preferred days and fit with you.

What would you make if you could build it in 3D?

A tiny house. A game prop. A creature with far too many legs.

We’re exploring small Blender groups at HVS: a place to learn 3D modelling alongside people who enjoy making things, with a mentor to help work through the next step.

We’d like to hear from interested young people and families. Beginners are welcome to express interest. Tell us what sounds fun to make, preferred days and whether online or Brisbane-area sessions would suit.

This is an expression of interest while we shape the groups; dates and arrangements will be confirmed individually.

DM “BLENDER” to register interest and receive our creative-program information.

Turn your tech skills into shared discoveries.

High Voltage Support is looking for a Digital & Technical Mentor to create alongside young people aged 10–25. Think games, websites, Minecraft and Roblox projects, in 1:1 and group sessions.

Bring at least one programming language AND one engine or platform, plus an approachable manner and the patience to explain things simply. You don't need expertise across every project type. Experience with neurodivergent young people is a bonus.

A Working With Children Check is required.

This is a casual role, open to mentors anywhere in Australia, with a hybrid mix of online sessions and local sessions where you're based. Pay range: SCHADS Award 2.1–3.1.

To apply, email your technical experience and an approximately one-minute video introducing yourself and why the role feels like a good fit to [email protected].

Applications close 30 October 2026.

What should we build together?

A mountain base? A village? Something that starts with “this probably won’t work” and turns into everyone’s favourite project?

Minecraft gives a group something to do together from the first block. Planning, swapping ideas and working through a tricky build can make conversation feel more natural.

HVS is welcoming enquiries for supported Minecraft and online social groups for young people aged approximately 10–25. Mentors work alongside participants, with suitable small groups of up to four participants per mentor. We match around age, interests and group fit.

DM “MINECRAFT” with the player’s age and preferred days to explore options.

DM “MINECRAFT” and we’ll send our game-server information page.

The first quest? Finding a group that feels right.

No rulebook memorised. No character voice required. HVS Dungeons & Dragons groups welcome beginners and build the adventure together.

A small group, a shared story and a facilitator alongside the players create opportunities to make choices, solve problems and get to know one another through play. Up to four participants per facilitator.

We’re taking enquiries for next term, with Brisbane hybrid and fully online options. Tell us the player’s age, preferred days and whether joining from home or in person would suit. We’ll help explore a compatible group.

DM “D&D” to explore a suitable group and receive our program information.

A familiar world. A shared project. A reason to come back.

For young people who enjoy Minecraft and other games, an online group can begin with something concrete: exploring a world, planning a build or working out what to try next.

HVS offers private, managed game servers as part of our interest-led support. We match options to participant age, interests and group needs. Supported small-group sessions can have one mentor for up to four participants.

We have capacity for online social groups for young people aged approximately 10–25. Ask how supported sessions work and what joining involves.

A character design can be the beginning of a whole world.

These HVS project images show a character in a miniature editor, then inside a game engine. Each step opens a different set of decisions: shape, detail, placement and what happens next.

A mentor works alongside the young person to explore the tools, work through challenges and find the next achievable step. We start with what makes the project interesting to them.

We have capacity for 3D modelling mentoring for young people aged approximately 10–25, around Ipswich and greater Brisbane, with online options too.

Sometimes, connection starts with a sketch.

A character’s expression. A colour choice. A story behind a very particular hat. Art gives us plenty of ways to get curious together.

At HVS, a mentor works alongside the young person, starting with their interests and finding an achievable next step. Making something can create opportunities for conversation, choices and self-expression—without every session needing a finished masterpiece.

We have capacity for art mentoring for young people aged approximately 10–25, around Ipswich and greater Brisbane, with online options too.

A character on screen. A painted figure on the table. A story to share.

These images from our HVS project gallery show how a character idea can move into making and painting. D&D adds a shared adventure: making choices, solving problems together and finding people with similar interests.

We have capacity for small D&D groups, with one facilitator for up to four participants. Beginners are welcome. We match groups around age, interests and support needs.

HVS primarily supports young people aged 10–25 around Ipswich and greater Brisbane, with online options too.

Message us with “D&D”, the participant’s age and whether online or in-person suits, and we’ll explore a suitable group. Or email [email protected].
