POSTPONED 3v3 Basketball Competition

We are regretful to announce that the Avondale 3v3 Basketball Competition Fundraiser that was due to take place on the 19th of September has been cancelled for this year. As lockdowns are still in place for much of NSW, and community sport is unavailable to run in the near future, Avondale Sport has made the tough decision to cancel the competition. Moving forward we look forward to continuing the event in 2022 when Uni Sports returns.

“We've made the difficult decision to cancel 2021 Nationals Div 1 and Div 2 presented by UniBank.

This decision has not been easy and is made in consideration of the COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns currently impacting many member universities across the country.

UniSport is working closely with member universities to explore options of alternative state-based competitions around Australia and will provide more information as soon as it's available.

All registration fees paid to date will be refunded as per the UniSport Participant Refund and Withdrawal guideline.

We thank our major event partners Tourism & Events Queensland (Visit Queensland, Australia) and Major Events Gold Coast , presenting partner UniBank, our sponsors, member universities and of course our students for their understanding and continued support.

We hope you all stay safe in this current climate, and we will provide an update soon when we have more information.

3v3 BASKETBALL COMPETITION 🏀

WHEN: Sunday the 5th of September

WHERE: Chan Shun Auditorium

WHO: Open to all community, schools, churches (high school age and up)

COST: $25 registration for each player and a gold coin donation for spectators
