Spooky season has hit the dance studio… 👻

And apparently, you don’t need ghosts or ghouls to give a dance teacher a fright.!

Dancers, parents AND teachers, we want yours! What’s the scariest thing you could say to a dance teacher? 👀 Bonus points if it’s something you’ve actually heard before. 😂

🎃 No tricks, just trials! ... the dance class kind.
Come along for a trial class at CM Dance and see if we’re your kind of people - https://cmdance.com.au/class-trial/

And just like that, we’re back! 💙

Term 4 starts today and somehow we’re already at the final term of the year.

From here, it’s all starting to feel very concert-y around the studio 😂 Dances are coming together, costumes are getting sorted and there’s plenty happening behind the scenes as we get closer to November.

It’s always a busy term, but definitely one of our favourites.

Good to have everyone back. Let’s get into it!

A HUGE congratulations to Alison & Nikita after an incredible week at the 2026 Australian Irish Dancing Championships in Adelaide!

Two brilliant results on the Australian stage and plenty to be proud of. We hope you’re feeling VERY proud of yourselves… because your CM Dance family certainly is!
Now enjoy the celebrations, you’ve earned them!

GROWN-UPS… you’re invited into the studio!

It’s Watching Week at CM Dance, which means our grown-ups get to come inside, take a seat and see what their dancer gets up to each week.

For some of our dancers, having extra people in the room can feel VERY exciting… for others, it might feel a little strange at first (and there may be a few suddenly shy dancers). Both are completely normal!

Come in, enjoy the dancing, give them a big clap and see just how much they’ve been learning.

We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been up to!

Another feis done and dusted!

A big well done to our Irish dancers who took to the stage at the Spring Feis on Sunday!

There’s always plenty to celebrate after a feis, but the biggest one is simply getting out there and dancing. Whether you walked off thinking “YESSS!” or already had a list of things you want to work on 😂, you should be pretty proud of yourself.

We loved seeing our CM Dance crew out on the floor, supporting each other and doing what they love.

Well done, dancers! Another one in the books. ☘️

What a way to finish the comp year!

A huge congratulations to our Topaz team who took the stage at Carnival Dance Challenge over the weekend.

This was their last competition for the year, and we’re so proud of how far this team has come. From rehearsals and new choreography to big stages, plenty of laughs and hearing “ONE MORE TIME” approximately 847 times 😂, we’ve loved watching this team grow together!

Now it’s time to swap comp season for concert season…

Well done, Topaz! 💙
