Massive congratulations to Rafferty who has been selected for the SLSCC Interbranch Team in the under 13 boys. A wonderful achievement and testament to the hard work and commitment Raff puts into his training and competition.

Congrats also to our very own Emmy Wheeler who has been appointed assistant sand coach for the team.

We wish both these wonderful Copa representatives the very best as they head to Caves Beach at the end of November, to represent the Central Coast as they take on the best from across the state 💙❤️🤍

⭐️Calling all U9 - U11 Nippers! ⭐️

The Infront Mini Carnival is taking place on Saturday 24th October at Toowoon Bay SLSC.

This event is open to all u9 - u11 nippers. It’s lots of fun for our experienced competitors, and a great introduction to carnivals for those who have never competed before.

Medals will be awarded in every heat & there will be a random draw to win one of three Infront Nippers boards!

What a spectacular return to nippers it was yesterday for the Copacabana Crew. Special thank you to all the volunteers who give their time to help setup, pack down, keep us fed, keep us safe and teach us all about the beach and ocean.

Does your child want to compete at carnivals? Then we need your help.

As the number of Copacabana Nippers competing at carnivals continues to grow, so does our need for qualified officials.

This is a great opportunity for parents to get involved, support their children and help Copacabana Surf Life Saving Club continue to provide opportunities for our nippers to compete.

Why become an official?

• Get closer to the action:
Be right in the competition area where your kids are racing and see the action up close.

• Help your club:
The more qualified officials we have, the lighter the load is for everyone. It means we can share the responsibility across more parents and volunteers.

• Help our nippers compete:
Having enough qualified officials is an important part of meeting the requirements for our club to attend carnivals. More officials means more opportunities for our kids.

• Free lunch:
And yes, officials are looked after with lunch at carnivals.

You don’t need to be an expert or know everything about officiating. Training and support are provided, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn as you go.
The course should only take a couple of hours of your time and can be completed at your own pace.

We’re simply asking parents of nippers who are keen to compete to consider becoming qualified. You don’t have to commit to every carnival — having more parents qualified means we can share the load.
