Grilled cheese?! Yes please!!!!! I can’t wait to not be sick! And I can’t wait to get off the boat!! Feeling grateful to have a more mellow delivery after the last couple big breeze passages. Doug, Travis, and Eric are installing a new anchor locker bilge pump so hopefully someone doesn’t need to go up there and bail with a 5 gal bucket every few hours while on a hard reach.

Finally have smooth seas and a very pleasant day. The stars and eventual moonrise last night were spectacular.

617 to go! It’s pretty pleasant sailing which is one of the only reasons I’m up here right now. It’s 12-12.5 knots with the motor on, we’re doing 7-7.5kts over ground.

We had hot dogs for lunch, we are going to have pasta for dinner, and the rest of the crew will probably have a b**r or two to go with it.

Could be better, could be worse. The final leg of this trip is bittersweet. We are so excited to be headed home after a long journey across the pacific, but sad to leave Soup, excited for S2H though!

A little update on the way to Noumea, New Caledonia! Not too much to report. Hopefully we’ll be feeling better by the time we’re on our way to AUS!! The plan is 2 days in NC and then 5-6 days (hopefully a little less) to New Castle, AUS, and then home!! Yay!!! Love the adventure, the experience, the memories, the people we’ve met along the way but also missing our families, dogs, and a normal sleep schedule:)

We’re almost 200 miles into our delivery to Noumea, New Caledonia! A place none of us have been and some of us had never heard of:) it’s a French territory so I’m excited to practice my language skills and eat some croissants🥰
