THAT’S A WRAP ON OUR 2026 JUNIOR SEASON! 🏑
What a great way to finish off our junior season last Wednesday night at Geelong Ninjas! 🥷
It was fantastic to have so many of our junior players and families together for one last night to celebrate the season, hand out our awards and, most importantly, have a bit of fun together!
A huge thank you to all of our junior players for being part of the Jags this year. We hope you’ve enjoyed your hockey, made some great friends and had plenty of fun along the way.
And of course, a big thank you to all of our parents and families who make junior hockey possible each week — getting the kids to training, washing uniforms, finding that missing mouthguard at the last minute 😂 and dragging everyone out of bed for those early Saturday and Sunday morning games... even the trips down to Torquay!
We know junior sport is a commitment for the whole family and we really appreciate all of the support you’ve given the kids, our teams and the club throughout the season.
We also want to once again thank our amazing coaches and team managers who gave up so much of their time throughout the year. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to get our teams onto the pitch each week and we are very lucky to have people willing to put their hands up and make it happen.
There were also plenty of others who helped out along the way — at training, on game days, helping with specialist coaching or simply jumping in wherever they were needed.
A special thank you to Allison Groot , Antony Hocking and Tom Griffin, along with everyone else who lent a hand throughout the season. It certainly didn't go unnoticed and was very much appreciated. 👏
And finally, thank you to everyone who helped make our Junior Celebration Evening such a great night. Pizza, presentations and an hour of kids running around Geelong Ninjas seemed like a pretty good way to finish the year! 😂
That might be a wrap on our Winter season, but we won't be away for too long...
🏑 SUMMER HOCKEY IS COMING!
Our Summer Hockey season will kick off in the last week of October, and we'd love to see all of our Jags juniors back again. More information will be coming out over the next few weeks.
For now, enjoy the break and thank you again to everyone who was part of our junior season in 2026.
