Check your emails! 📧 Squad allocation emails started going out last night, with the remaining emails being sent today.

🚩 FRIDAY TRAINING CANCELLED

Please note that training this Friday has been cancelled. This means tomorrow will be our final scheduled training session for the term.

🚩 SCHOOL HOLIDAY BREAK

We’ll be taking a break over the school holidays, with training returning to our usual Winter Training Schedule from Monday 12 October.

🚩 2026/27 MEMBERSHIPS

A reminder that 2026/27 memberships are due by 12 October. All swimmers will need to have their new season membership active before returning to training.

🦈 WE’D LOVE SOME EXTRA HANDS! 🦈

Our Corowa Sharks club is run by volunteers, and we’d love to welcome some more parents, family members, friends and supporters who may be able to lend a hand.

We currently have a few small but valuable roles available:

🔹 MPIO – Member Protection Information Officer
🔹 Race Secretary
🔹 Point Score Secretary
🔹 General Board Members

You don’t need previous committee experience, and helping out doesn’t have to mean taking on a huge commitment. Sharing the workload between more people makes a big difference to our club and our swimmers.

If you think you could fill one of these roles, would like to know a little more about what’s involved, or would simply like to offer assistance in another way, we’d love to hear from you!

🦈 COACH DEVELOPMENT 🦈

Yesterday, our Sharks member Lucas attended a Coach Development Course in Junee, hosted by SISA and Swimming Australia. 🏊‍♂️

Well done, Lucas! 👏 It’s fantastic to see our members taking opportunities to continue learning, developing their skills and building their coaching knowledge.

We hope you had a great day and enjoyed connecting with other coaches from across the region. We’re looking forward to seeing you put some of those new skills into action back on pool deck with the Sharks! 💪🦈

A big thank you to Swimming Australia, SISA and Junee Swimming Club for providing and supporting this valuable development opportunity for our regional coaches. 💙
