Works are ramping up at Bellambi Point! 🌉🌊

Over the next two months the Bellambi Boat Ramp jetty will undergo refurbishment, giving it another 10 years of life. These works include;

➡️ Replacing the jetty deck tiles with Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) panels.
➡️ Building a new jetty entrance concrete access pad.
➡️ Replacing vertical timber fender posts with Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) posts.
➡️ Replacing horizontal timber walers with Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) hollow sections.
➡️ Installing new D-shaped protection rubber on jetty posts.
➡️ Replacing the aluminium handrail on the upper deck level of the jetty.
➡️ Cleaning, repairing or replacing ladders as needed.
➡️ Other minor repairs.

Worry not, while a section of the car park will be fenced off, fishers and boaters will still be able to access the boat ramp and car park during the works.

𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗞𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗗! 🎣

We are currently seeking a Casual Deckhand to join our team! This exciting role is responsible for assisting with ongoing vessel operations and delivering great customer experience onboard. There is also an opportunity for growth and support for those looking to become a Master in the near future!

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
- Work under the direction of the Master to carry out tasks onboard the vessel in a safe and compliant manner
- Assist the Master in managing the deck activities of the vessel during preparation for departure and mooring at the end of each charter
- Assist the Master in the safe embarkation/ disembarkation of passengers
- Passenger assistance and maintain good customer relations
- Cleaning of the entire vessel before, during, and at the completion of each charter

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
- Previous experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be prepared to work school holidays, weekends and public holidays
- Casual position rostered subject to confirmed bookings and weather conditions
- Must be comfortable with fish cleaning and rigging of gear on a moving vessel
- Reside within the Illawarra region is preferable, as we have early morning starts and possible long days
