Outfitt Outfitt is an outdoor fitness group in North Cottesloe every Mon Wed Fri 6-7pm

Outfitt is an outdoor fitness group our focus is on providing high intensity fitness training to surf lifesavers and their friends. Our training is designed to push you to the limit and work together in a group while you are there focus is on body-weight activities with limited equipment while harnessing the terrain and structures to deliver a versatile workout.

The sessions continue while we are on holiday huge thanks to Charlie, Jez and Stevie v for keeping it going the last two weeks feeling guilty seeing the hard work and missing the sandy sweat fest! Meanwhile Meg and I have been enjoying a similar level of intensity dancing at the closing parties in Ibiza!

Three new lambs to the slaughter on Friday who all did very well being introduced to our friendly tractor tyre and the snakes and ladders up the coast then we all went for a drink upstairs at the Friday club bar where they met some more members. It’s always great to welcome new people to the club that’s why we keep our class free and open to everyone, there’s nothing you can turn up to and meet members at the club like it.

Wednesday training has given everyone sore legs and arms pushing our tyres up the stairs between soft sand runs back to the club. Monday we took the bars for a run and carried each other up the stairs all in all it’s been a week for the each staircases. It’s great to have Jules and Jez back exercising together at fitness it’s sometimes hard to juggle getting there but you always feel better afterwards. Friday training is still on this Friday the club bar is open so bring your kit and stay for a b**r afterwards.

Lots of sweat tonight as the weather heats up we got a seaweed bath crawling through it at Cottesloe beach pushed our big tyre on the soft sand back to the club, our kids even joined in at the end for some soft sand running and slab exercises. Monday we sweated it out in the slab with the lads.

Love our bear crawls. We have worked in the Zuu exercises for ten years now alongside running and the mobility it gives you is amazing no locked up hips and faster recovery. Get down every Monday Wednesday and Friday night at 6pm north Cott surf club. Free for everyone

The sun is returning and the chill disappearing from the evenings, time to come out of hibernation and onto the beach for the run up to summer. We are there every Monday, Wednesday and Friday night at 6pm, sessions are free run by volunteer surf life savers everyone is welcome.

On Monday we three had a storm finally! I was so happy I did the slab set in the rain at the end to celebrate, then tonight Kenny did no fence fence jumping or wall overs or crawling under logs because it was my birthday what an excellent present! We did 47 pushups together at the end as is tradition. Get down Friday for more fun the light is coming back and it’s beautiful on the beach.

Another beautiful night on the beach for a run and a tyre push session looping back to the club between for sets of exercises. We welcomed Amber for her first session she kept pushing through all the runs and carried the stereo with the boys running in pairs even got the hang of pushing the tyre. Well done!

Monday with the boys for a big run down to the freo footbridge to reverse crawl it and back again, hard 500m runs at 4:30 in pairs carrying the stereo for extra difficulty, exercises building +10 each stop. Solid work lads.
