This Sunday, enjoy an affordable swim for the whole family just $15 per family!

When: This Sunday
Price: $15 per family (family of 4)
Where: At both Cowes Outdoor Pool and Bass Coast Aquatic and Leisure Centre

Important Heat Wave Notice – Cowes Outdoor Pool

With high temperatures and strong winds expected over the next few days, please take extra care while visiting the pool.

Here are some tips to keep you safe and comfortable:

💧 Stay hydrated – drink plenty of water (avoid soft drinks)

☀️ Sunscreen is available for purchase onsite please apply and reapply regularly

👒 Wear broad-brim hats and protective clothing

🌂 Use umbrellas and shaded areas to stay cool while still enjoying the pool

🧊 Drinks and icy poles are available to help you cool down

🌀 Take advantage of any breezy spots around the pool area

We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable visit, so please look after yourselves and each other.

Come down and enjoy a refreshing swim at the Cowes Outdoor Pool!

The pool is open every day from 1 PM to 6 PM, giving you plenty of time to splash around, relax, and soak up the summer sun. Whether you’re looking to exercise, cool off, or have fun with family and friends, the Cowes Outdoor Pool is the perfect spot.

Please note, the pool will be closed on Christmas Day to allow our staff to enjoy the holidays.

🌊 Cowes Outdoor Pool – Summer Opening Hours! ☀️

We’re excited to share that the Cowes Outdoor Pool will be open every day from 1pm–6pm, starting TOMORROW 20 December through to 25 January (closed Christmas Day only.)

Thanks to Cowes Primary School’s investment in new heat lamps and upgraded pool heating, the pool opening is now no longer temperature-dependent — which means a guaranteed 35 days of summer swimming! 🏊‍♂️💙

Grab your towel, bring your friends, and enjoy a warm, welcoming swim all summer long!

The Cowes Outdoor Pool at Cowes Primary School is open every day from this Saturday Dec 20 to Jan 25, 1–6pm (closed Christmas Day).
Perfect for getting your laps in over summer come down and have a swim!

Please note this is depending on lap lanes available on the day. VIC swimprogram is also in on Monday- Friday 5th Jan- 23rd Jan 2026.
