A fantastic milestone for our club and another great step forward for our growing community.

We are proud to announce the completion of two new three-tier grandstands, providing seating for approximately 80 spectators, along with six additional bench seats installed around the oval. To further improve accessibility, two dedicated wheelchair bays have also been marked on the pavilion veranda adjacent to the grandstands.

These additions enhance what are already outstanding facilities and will provide greater comfort and accessibility for our players, members, families, and supporters for many years to come. Projects like this demonstrate what can be achieved when community leaders, Council representatives, and dedicated volunteers work together toward a shared vision.

A sincere thank you to Mayor Stefan Koomen, Deputy Mayor Michelle Crowther, The Hon. Pauline Richards MP, Wright Paterson from the City of Casey, and Alicia Heins from the City of Casey for their support, advocacy, and commitment in helping bring this project to life.

A special thank you also to our Founder and President, Pam Rogers, and Head Coach, Justin, for their dedication, ongoing communication with Council, and leadership in planning and coordinating the seating project from concept through to completion.

We look forward to seeing our members and supporters enjoy these fantastic new facilities throughout the season and beyond.

💗🏉 MONASH CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL ROUND – EVERYONE IS INVITED! 🏉💗

Saturday 20th of June, Casey Thunder Women’s Football Club is proud to host our Monash Children’s Hospital Round, raising vital funds and awareness for the incredible work of Monash Children’s Hospital.

Bring the whole family down for a fantastic day of football, community spirit and fun activities, including:

⚡ Division 3 – 10:00am
⚡ Division 1 – 12:00pm
⚡ Burger stall
⚡ Ice cream truck
⚡ Face painting
⚡ Superhero characters
⚡ Bounce house
⚡ Longest kick competition
⚡ Pie in the Face challenge

As part of the day, our players will be wearing silly socks and we encourage everyone attending to dress as their favourite superhero. This is in honour of the real superheroes of Monash Children’s Hospital – the brave young patients who show incredible strength every day, and the dedicated doctors, nurses and staff who care for them.

All profits from the canteen will be donated, with plenty of opportunities throughout the day to support this wonderful cause.

Whether you’re a football supporter, local resident, family member or friend, everyone from the community is welcome. Come along, enjoy a great day of football and family fun, and help us make a meaningful difference for children and families in our community.

If you can’t make it on the day but would still like to support our fundraising efforts, please donate here:

Two armbands. Two powerful messages.

🖤 For Neil Daniher and the fight against MND.

🎉 MILESTONE WEEKEND 🎉

This weekend we celebrate two wonderful Casey Thunder players reaching significant milestones in their football journey at our home ground.

💯 Shenae Chadwick – 100 Games

Shenae joined Casey Thunder in 2023 after several seasons across the Gippsland and South East leagues and has been a valued member of our program ever since. A recipient of the Div 2 Most Determined Award in 2023, Shenae’s commitment to improving her game has never wavered.

Through hard work, dedication and perseverance, she has developed into a key player in our Div 3 defence while also earning opportunities at Div 1 level throughout 2024 and 2025. Reliable, hardworking and trusted by her teammates, Shenae’s growth as a footballer has been outstanding to watch.

Congratulations on reaching 100 games, Shenae. A fantastic achievement and one that is thoroughly deserved.

5️⃣0️⃣ Nenita Lacanaria – 50 Games

Nenita joined Casey Thunder in 2024 after playing her junior football with Korumburra-Bena. Since arriving at the club, she has become a much-loved teammate whose enthusiasm, positivity and love for football shines through every week.

Whether at training or on game day, Nenita always brings energy, fun and a smile to those around her. Her determination to improve and willingness to give her all has been rewarded with some fantastic performances this season, including the special moment of kicking her first ever goal for Casey Thunder.

Nenita is a reminder of what community football is all about – fun, friendship and connection.

Congratulations on your 50-game milestone, Nenita. We are proud to celebrate this achievement with you and can’t wait to see what comes next.

⚡ Congratulations Shenae and Nenita on your incredible milestones. Thank you for everything you bring to our club!
