MPBC Update.

At the next agm due to personal reasons some of the committee will be stepping down.

We share this publicly to stop the gossip that is factually incorrect.

The Jinnettes, who have given years to MPBC, suffered the death of a very close family member. This is the reason for them stepping back - nothing else.

This is the perfect time for new blood to step in and take the club to new horizons.

We're pumped up and ready for Grand Finals weekend!!
Wishing our U8s in the round robin comps, and our 14x teams in the U10s to U19s the very best of luck in this weekend's games.

Thanks to everyone who came down to participate in our end of year event, we saw lots of smiles all day! Huge shout out and thanks to Ball360au who hosted us today and kept everyone's skills on point and our bellies full!

Have you ever considered coaching kids basketball? Well now is your time to shine! MPBC is always on the lookout for new coaches to help keep kids playing the sport they love.
Not an expert? No problem! We have a number of senior and experienced coaches on hand to provide additional support where required. All coaches receive a coach pack which includes a sports bag, ball, clipboard & marker, first aid kit, drills & skills plus access to a private coaches facebook group to ask questions and share exercises - all at no cost!

If you are looking for a family friendly basketball club for your child to learn, grow & just have fun, look no further than MPBC!
We currently have some availability across different age groups for the upcoming Summer Season which begins atthe start of October so we are taking enquiries and registrations NOW.

* Please allow 48-72 hours for our friendly volunteer committee members to respond to your enquiry, we all are working parents who collectively run the club during any spare time we can find :)

Is your child looking for a new team or club to play basketball in the upcoming Summer season? We have some positions available in some of our age levels, so to express your interest please fill out the below form ASAP. If we have a position availbale we will be in contact very shortly.
We also would love to hear from any parents or adults who would be interested in coaching a team or 2. The more coaches we have, the more kids we can take to the court!

Taking a moment to wish all our MPBC family new or existing a Happy Easter. We hope you have fun however you celebrate with family & friends. Still a couple of weeks before weekend competition begins for Winter season, so go on, treat yourself to an extra chocolate egg or hot cross bun, you deserve it!!

A massive 20 teams from our 26 semi finalists are through to this week's big dance - what an amazing achievement!!
We can't wait to see as many of our other teams & families out to support our grand finalists and make some noise for MPBC - your Casey Basketball 2024 Domestic Club of the Year!!!!
We are super super proud of how everyone has participated this season, lets cap it off with a few first place medals!!

CLUB OF THE YEAR!

There are no words to say how proud we are to accept this award tonight on behalf of our amazing club!

There are days were the only conversations in our home is about the club, about games, about what needs to be done next! And to be recognised for the work that our amazing team of volunteers do for no reward honestly is the best feeling!

Thank you to all of our members for making the club what it is today! For being kind and patient with our volunteers as we do our best between paying work! And for representing our club with pride and respect everytime you put on the uniform!

We can't wait to see what the next year brings 🙌 💜🏀
