Thank you to the CLAC family members who have volunteered to be age group managers or assistants so far. We really appreciate you stepping up to make it possible for those athletes to compete each Friday.
Presently, there are still multiple age manager and assistant positions needing to be filled.

⚠ Any groups without an assigned Age Manager or Assistant will be unable to compete on Friday nights until a parent/carer steps in to fill these positions. ⚠

Sportsmagic - Custom Design Teamwear are coming to CLAC!

The company will be visiting the CLAC clubhouse on Sunday 13th September between 10am-12pm during our final Registration Collection Day.
They will have CLAC merchandise products available to view, try on and purchase on site during this time.
Sportsmagic are also offering free club collection on Sunday 13th September for all orders placed online before 9am on Thursday 10th September.

🖤💚 ORIENTATION “UPSKILL” NIGHT 🖤💚

Attention athletes in the following age groups:
💚 Tots 4 + 5
🖤 9 Boys + Girls
💚 11 Boys + Girls

You're invited to attend our Orientation "Upskill" Night on Friday 11th September.

This evening is for SELECT AGE GROUPS only, who are starting new field events this season. You will be assisted by our senior athletes, who will demonstrate techniques and equipment required so you can learn and practise these new athletic events before the season begins.

💚 Tots 4 + 5 : Arrive for a 5:30pm start
Walk through of Tiny Tots modified program +
Introduction to new events for 5 Tots (shot put, discus, long jump)

🖤9 Boys + Girls : Arrive for a 6:00pm start
Introduction to High Jump Scissor technique

💚 11 Boys + Girls : Arrive for a 6:00pm start
Introduction to Javelin throw, Triple Jump technique, and High Jump Fosbury Flop technique

👕 Athletes may wear their CLAC uniform on the night. Alternatively, they can wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for activities.

❎ There will be NO CANTEEN operating on this night.

#⃣ The clubhouse will be open during this time for families to collect rego patches and purchase uniforms.

🏃🏼‍♀️ This is NOT a competition night for all age groups or registered athletes. If you are new to athletics, please rest assured that all new athletes will be supported by their age managers during the first few weeks of the season as they learn how to do the track and field events.

📩An email will also be sent out to the above age groups regarding the night.

TINY TOTS AGE GROUP ASSISTANTS NEEDED

Parents/carers of Tiny Tots 4s and 5s athletes - We need YOUR HELP!

We are putting a call out to our Tiny Tots 4s and 5s guardians who may be interested in filling the Age Assistant positions for each group.

💚 No experience required - just a willingness to help!
🖤 All activities and equipment provided and set up for the group
💚 You will be supported by CLAC athletes and Tots parents, who will run the activities with the tots each week
🖤 Your role is to assist with collecting and marking the attendance roll, mustering with the athletes and moving the group to their activities

Groups without an assigned Assistant will need parents helpers to step in each Friday night to cover these duties.

💚🖤 Registration Patch Placement 💚🖤

For our families who have collected their patches and are wanting to get prepared for the fast-approaching start of the season, the below information outlines how to correctly attach both age and registration patches to your athlete's uniform.

📆Both patches must be worn every night of club competition

✅ Each athlete is issued with a unique registration patch. If you have more than one athlete, ensure the correct patch is applied.

🪡 Patches can be machine sewn, hand stitched, safety pinned or attached with velcro or snap press studs.

✂️ Please avoid cutting the patches, as they easily fray.

⚠ The patches can be folded or overlapped by following the guidelines below to help them fit on the smaller crops.

💲 Lost patches will incur a $10 replacement fee.
