⛵ ILCA Coaching Clinic – TCYC Rockingham

Join Coach Oliver Pabbruwe on Sunday 1 November, 8.30am–1.30pm, for a fun and practical coaching session to sharpen your ILCA sailing skills!

Open to all ILCA sailors, juniors and masters alike. Particularly suited to those new to ILCA sailing or transitioning from other classes and looking for ILCA-specific tips.

Supported by ILCAWA as part of our commitment to developing ILCA sailing and supporting local and regional clubs.

Calling all Masters, the Claremont Yacht Club Masters Series in on again. This is the fourth year it's been run and it gets better every time.

Think of it as the WA State Masters Championships, and perhaps one day we'll be able to call it that. The competition is always hot, the facilities are great and the lunch afterwards is delicious with great company.

It's a good reason to get out of bed on a Sunday morning!.

Hi everyone, I'm off to the last event of my northern hemisphere summer, the Masters Europeans in La Baule, France, I last sailed there in the 1970s in a 505. It is a great sailing venue on the Atlantic coast.

Towing two boats, one for a friend who can't get there until just before the racing starts. Going from London then by ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo.

This is a bigger regatta than the Worlds in Athens earlier this year, with a total of 288 entries from 28 countries. Cheers, Robo

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN! Our BIGGEST FUNDRAISER FOR THE ILCA NATIONALS is back — and we need your help!

We’re looking for donations for our Quiz Night on 7 December at RFBYC, and there are SO many ways you can help. Donations we’d love include:

🏠 Appliances & household items
⛵ Sailing gear & equipment
💆 Beauty & wellness services
🎬 Movie tickets
🎉 Experiences & activities
🎁 Door prizes — big or small, we’d love them all!

Think outside the box! Ask your family, friends, workplace or favourite local business if they’d be happy to donate something. Every donation helps us raise funds to support our sailors at the Nationals. 🙌

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads in our ILCAWA community!
To the dads who sail, coach, drive the support boat, fix the gear, cheer from the shore, wake up early for training, and travel the country (and beyond) to support their sailors — thank you!
Whether you’re a sailor yourself or the proud parent of one, we hope you have a fantastic day filled with family, sunshine and maybe a little time on the water.
