The Level 2 Scoretable Official Accreditation is coming to the Northside and Gold Coast this October!

Designed for current and aspiring officials, the course will help participants develop their understanding of key scoretable responsibilities and the skills required to support basketball competitions with confidence.

Basketball Queensland is looking for referees to be part of the 2026 Molten CBSQ Open Tournament!

Taking place across Coomera Indoor Sports Centre and Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium from 17–20 September, CBSQ Open will bring together school basketball teams from across Queensland for four big days of competition.

A huge congratulations to Queenslander Miela Sowah, who is set to make her FIBA Women’s World Cup debut after being selected in the Australian Opals team for Berlin! 🇦🇺🏀

Coming through the Basketball Queensland pathway, Miela’s journey is a fantastic example of where dedication, hard work and the opportunities within our game can lead. From her development in Queensland to becoming a WNBL Champion, competing in the WNBA and now representing Australia on basketball’s biggest stage, we couldn’t be prouder! ❤️

The Opals begin their World Cup campaign against Puerto Rico on 4 September.
