⚪️🔴 SUNDAY CELEBRATIONS 🔴⚪️
Thank you to our mini & mod teams for coming to celebrate the ‘26 season at home on the weekend. The weather was perfect & the kids were vibing being back with their mates.
It has been a while since we held the presentation at the grounds and everyone made it an amazing day, enjoying the inflatables and food vans & receiving their trophies at the conclusion of an epic season.
Thank you to all parents for bringing the Devil’s, coaches and team staff for presenting & to our committee for organising. We hope you all have a great off-season and we will be ready for you when rego’s open for SZN27 😉

⚪️🔴 PERPETUAL AWARDS | MODS 🔴⚪️
Today we held our Mini & Mod presentation & our perpetual awards - Josh Caruso & Darren Thompson - were given to two deserving players.
Our Mod Player of the Year outside of U10 Div 1 was presented by family members Bayley Caruso & Brock Locking, awarded to U11 Div 1 player Jacob Chalmers.
Our U10 Div 1 player of the year was awarded to Jed Koosmen.
These awards honour past Valentine Devil players who left us too soon, and we are so grateful for Josh’s family for attending today.
Congratulations to both Jed & Jacob on their achievements - both boys have played hard all season & their awards are well deserved!

⚪️🔴 PRESO COUNTDOWN 🔴⚪️
This weekend we celebrate our mini and mod teams from U5 to U12’s & we are throwing it back to years gone by, by holding the presentation at our grounds 👹
We have inflatables for activities, with ample field space for everyone’s favourite game, a BBQ for our players and food vans for our families.
We can’t wait to see everyone this SUNDAY 🤩🥳
Presentation starts at 10:00AM 🏆 🥇
Joining us are Saidies Açai, Harmony Beans, Dumplings By Jie Just Cinnamon Donuts & Mr Loaded + Sno Cones 🔥

⚪️🔴 GRAND FINALS 2026 🔴⚪️
The season reached its peak yesterday, with grounds packed with supporters to cheer on our teams in their grand finals - what an amazing turnout for all of our players 👹🔥
Congratulations to our U13/1 and U14/1 teams on their wins!
The first competition GF for our 13’s and the third in a row for our 14’s. 🔥🔥
Our U14/2, U14WT, U15, U16 & U16WT gave it all they had yesterday, all players and staff are part of the teams accomplishment for getting to the Grand Final - the rugby league competition for these age groups are fierce and to make it all the way is the goal, winning is a bonus.
We are so proud of how our teams conducted themselves in success and defeat. The Devil’s play with pride and determination, and leave it all on the field.
Thank you to our teams for wearing black arm bands for Reg Squires, the club he helped build turned up for him yesterday 🤍
Enjoy a few weeks of rest before summer sports start up, we can’t wait to go again next year 👹

⚪️🔴 VALE, REG SQUIRES 🔴⚪️
Our Devil family lost a huge part of the club today, with Founding Member Reg Squires passing this morning.
The Devil’s exist because of Reg and Bruce Gill, founding the club in 1970, the Devil legacy has gone from strength to strength thanks to their dedication and passion, giving our local kids a place to play footy.
Field 1, which is already named in Reg’s honour, guarantees his legacy will live on each time we take the field.
This weekend we ask our grand final teams to wear a black armband in honour of Reg.
Thank you to the Squires family for sharing Reg with our club for all these years. He will be so greatly missed.

Yesterday our Devil Captains from our grand final teams were invited to the Knights Centre of Excellence for a photoshoot showcasing all grand final teams and clubs.
Thanks to our team captains for heading in to represent our club! Looking smart in our playing kit, ready to rumble on the weekend 👹🔥

⚪️🔴 GRAND FINAL DAY 🔴⚪️
Seven teams have one more game to tick off this weekend - with the GRAND FINAL beckoning for every one of our international age groups - all our Div 1 and Div 2 teams are looking to secure the title of Major Premiers on Saturday 👹.
Scattered over ovals at Central, Cessnock, Kurri & Waratah, everyone will be heading to support our Devil’s in their last dance for ‘26 🔥🔥
You have all put in the hard work all season, the sacrifices you have made and the dedication you’ve shown has gotten you this far. No matter the result on the weekend we are so proud of all of our teams & we look forward to cheering you on and celebrating the season in the afternoon ✨

⚪️🔴 PRELIM WRAP-UP 🔴⚪️
What a day to be a Devil! Five teams were out today to win their way to the Grand Final, and all five were successful!
We are in admiration of the resilience, determination & fire in the bellies of these teams who have shown up for the second week of finals, standing next to their mates and battling their way to the final week of 2026.
Injuries have had a toll on every one of these teams this year, they’ve taken the long way round to the big dance and we hope they are holding their heads high.
Our 16/1, 16WT, 14/1, 14/2 & 14WT join our 15/1 and 13/1 next week for one last game. Let’s go Valo 👹🔥

⚪️🔴 FINALS WEEK TWO 🔴⚪️
There’s a lot to play for this weekend, with five of our seven finals teams playing for their spot in the Grand Final 🤩
Our U14/2’s are competing at Dudley, while our other teams will battle it out at Barton.
No matter the results this weekend, our club is proud as always for our teams holding themselves to high standards for the 2026 season. All going out week after week against tough competition, cementing the wins and learning from the losses.
Hold your heads high in victory or defeat, the journey and who you share it with is the most important part 🤍❤️ Let’s go Valo 💪🏼

⚪️🔴 FINALS WEEK ONE 🔴⚪️
Yesterday was a huge day with six of our teams in the grind for their qualifying final game. Thank you to everyone who came to Valo to support our five home games - we have officially closed for the year & our club has been well supported throughout the season at home 💪🏼
Congratulations to our U15/1 and U13/1’s who won their game and earn a week off before the Grand Final 🤩
Congratulations to U16/1 & U14WT on their much-needed wins, meaning they go again next week for a spot in the GF 🎊
Our U14/1 and U14/2 teams went down in their games but finishing #2 and #1 in regular season means they get another chance next week, as well as our U16 girls who get their chance to play for their spot in the GF as well after a bye this week 🤍❤️
