Thinking about trying yoga but not sure where to start?

Our 6-Week Men's Beginner Yoga Course has been created specifically for men who are new to yoga or want to build confidence from the ground up.

Whether you're feeling stiff, spend long hours at a desk, play sport, or simply want to move better and reduce stress, this course will guide you through the fundamentals in a supportive, judgement-free environment.

Over 6 weeks you'll learn:
✔️ Foundational yoga postures
✔️ Safe movement and alignment
✔️ Flexibility and mobility techniques
✔️ Breathing practices to reduce stress
✔️ Simple skills you can continue using long after the course ends

Our Slow Flow & Yin class is the perfect blend of gentle movement, mindful breath, and deep relaxation for 75min, accessible for all levels and a beautiful way to honour International Yoga Day.

After class, we'll head across to Ora D'oro for coffee, cake, conversation, and community!

Yoga is about more than what happens on the mat, it's about the relationships, presence, and sense of belonging we cultivate along the way.

❄️ Wintering ❄️

What a beautiful day we shared together on Saturday at our Seasonal Shift Day Retreat.

As we move into winter, nature reminds us that growth doesn’t always happen above the surface. Winter is a season of drawing inward, resting deeply, and strengthening the roots beneath us.

In a world that constantly asks us to do more, winter offers a different invitation: to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and courageously created space for themselves. It is always a privilege to witness what unfolds when we step away from the busyness of life and allow ourselves time to simply be.

I’m deeply grateful for this community and excited for the season ahead.

May this season bring you rest, nourishment, clarity, and the courage to tend to the things growing quietly beneath the surface.

Sink into 90 minutes of candlelit Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra designed to help you slow down, release tension, and honour this seasonal turning point. Winter invites us inward, a time to rest, restore, and reconnect before the days begin to lengthen again.

500 classes and counting 🎉

A huge milestone at Asha Yoga! Congratulations to Helen, our very first student to reach 500 classes 🤍

“My journey with Asha Yoga started in early 2020 at the original Croydon studio. Semi-retirement gave me the chance to finally try yoga… not sure why I waited so long.

After attending other styles of yoga, I was searching for something more rounded, less strict and more caring. Then I found Asha Yoga, met Michelle, and found my village.

Yoga is now such an important part of my life. Every class offers me calmness, fitness, recovery from past injury, clarity of mind, community and most importantly, friendship.

Vinyasa helps improve my flexibility, movement and resilience. Yin calms my mind and lets my body float. Pilates has improved my core strength and coordination - and it’s fun too.

What keeps me coming back? Asha Yoga is a safe place where individuality is celebrated, healing happens, and kindness and friendship are everywhere.”

Favourite memories:

✨ My first successful Hindi squat
✨ My first down dog after hand surgery

Mother’s Day can hold many different meanings. For some, it’s a day of celebration and gratitude. For others, it may bring grief, longing, complexity or reflection.

Wherever this day meets you, we honour your experience.
