Deadlifts performed correctly with great form and a resistance that is suitable to the individual performing them is arguably one of the best exercises to improve body composition.

Where Deadlifts can be a problem for individuals is when they:
• have poor hip and spine mobility
• lack of training age (recently began training)
• Not understanding the technique to perform this exercise
• unable to hinge their hip correctly
• OR the worst, choose a weight using their ego

Respect the Deadlift, take the time to learn it well and it will provide you with everlasting love and support

Back to a simpler time when things where simpler.
A small snipet from a seminar I did a few years ago.
I have nothing against cardio training, however too many people over look the long term benefits of muscle mass and its ability to burn more calories throughout your entire day.
More muscle equals a higher metabolism. Pair that up with smart nutrition and you will get a greater fat loss result then cardio training alone.

Jamie has a huge passion for fitness and with many years’ experience of training himself, he has decided to take that knowledge and turn it into a full time career as a personal trainer.
Jamie’s expertise is in men’s health & fitness, in particular strength training and muscle building.
He has spent years under the bar himself, so you can be sure any question you have about your training he will know the answer.

I remember getting my first gym membership around 20 years ago and all the male fitness instructors (as they were called back then) would wear tight spandex, emulating their favourite trainer Richard.

Thank god times have changed and sweat shorts and a well fitted polo is the accepted attire for trainers and coaches in 2019.

I wanted to give you an example of a real breakfast of champions.

I’m not entirely sure why, but somehow big sugar companies have bombarded our sub-conscious mind into believing a highly processed carbohydrate meal is a “breakfast of champions”.

Do you really believe that “IRON MEN” eat Nutri-Grain every morning?

Yeah me neither!
-
Instead a real “breakfast of champions” is on the right-hand side. Whilst it isn’t the ONLY option for a great start to your day, I used it as an example because the preparation time is almost identical to cereal and toast.
