Ange Minetti & Dee Walles take the reins for 2026/27!

Our inaugural Women's Captain Ange Minetti returns to the helm this season together with her partner in crime, prolific top order bat Dee Walles.

We thank Georgia Priestley for her brilliant leadership of the Women's team over the last two seasons, as she steps down due to other commitments. We will still see her out there at some stage! 🙏

Congratulations to Ange and Dee, our Women's team are certainly in good hands as they look to go one step further this season!

💪 PRESEASON 💪

Senior and Junior preseason starts soon!

Seniors:
We kick off this Saturday - 9am at the 1,000 Steps in FTG. You get out what you put in. See you there.
Full schedule is on the website.

Junior boys and girls:
Kick off with development clinics (ages 8-12) on Fri Aug 7th at Saxon Sports, 4:30 to 5:30pm.

Then preseason for all juniors starts Fri Aug 28th, 4:30pm to 5:30pm at Saxon Sports Croydon.

⭐️ VIC SELECTION ⭐️

Ainslie Park’s Rosie Sykes vice captained the Victorian U22 Women’s indoor cricket side in last week’s national championships.

The Vics finished second before being knocked out in the preliminary final. Rosie finished third in player of the series votes and was named in the team of the tournament.

Congratulations Rosie!

📢 NEW(ISH) PRESIDENT 📢

Big news from our AGM held on Monday night!

After 3 seasons at the helm, Matt Thomas has handed the reins back to a familiar face.

David Delahunty steps back into the role, putting his hand up for a second stint leading Ainslie Park.

Huge thanks to Thommo, who put everything into the last 3 seasons as President. Outside of organising the committee and all his other duties, he has done it all. From making lunches and arvo teas, to cooking dinners, fundraising, sponsorships, and deep frying anything he can get his hands on. There really has been no job too big or small, he just continues to be the selfless club person he is.

Thank you Thommo, congrats on a great 3 seasons, and congrats again to Dela.

And what does Dela want to see this time around?
"More people doing less, rather than less people doing more."

📢 NEW 1ST XI CAPTAIN 📢

We're excited to announce that Max Moss will take the reins from 2026/27!

Max steps up after a huge last couple of years, pushing himself to become one of the premier batsmen in Trollope Shield last season. A hard worker and great clubman, Max has naturally become a leader both on and off the field, always driving standards and looking to move the club forward.

Big thanks to Leigh Jones who steps away after 8 years, guiding us to a Trollope Shield premiership and two T20 premierships in his time as captain-coach.

Thanks Leigh and big congratulations Max!

🌟 50 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TEAM 🌟

At our 50th Anniversary Gala evening this season, a panel of selectors had the incredibly difficult task of distilling 50 years worth of star Ainslie Park players into just 12 names.

Congratulations to the 12 who were selected in our team of the first 50 years, an incredible achievement given the calibre of players we've had represent Ainslie Park's 1st XI since our inception in 1976.
