Ever heard your instructor throw around the term 'imprint' in the studio?
Imprinting your spine refers to gently drawing your lower back towards the reformer or mat to create a stable, supported core position. It's one of the foundational principles of Pilates—and once you master it, you'll notice a huge difference in your movements.

🌟 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT 🌟
Everest Base Camp Adventure 🏔️
A huge congratulations to our Club Pilates member Julie, who took on an incredible challenge and trekked to Everest Base Camp in October 2025! 🏔️🥾
Over 12 days and 135km, Julie reached an altitude of 5,364m, with an unforgettable climb to Kala Patthar at 5,545m for breathtaking views of Mount Everest.
Julie put in so much preparation before the trip, including local hikes, incline treadmill sessions and increasing her Club Pilates practice to three classes a week. 💪
She credits Pilates with helping build the leg, core and upper-body strength, as well as the mental clarity and focus needed to keep pushing through the toughest days — including a gruelling 10-hour trek to Base Camp in temperatures as low as -15°C! 🥶
What an achievement, Julie! We’re so proud of you and thrilled that your Pilates journey played a part in such an amazing adventure. ❤️
Incredible determination! 🙌

Lying on your back with hips and knees at 90 degrees — it sounds simple, but Tabletop is the starting point for so much more. It's the foundation for core work, stability, and control that carries through to everything you do on the reformer.
