Fitness Equipment and Educational Supplies trip for Lombok Schools Project 2026. It is definitely the WALK OF LIFE . Shout out to this years A-Team , Feri, Inggah , Daniel , Wendy, Jacqui, Deb and Mal from The Verve Beach Club and Evi from Mana Yoga who have all helped make this trip happen in 2026. A new PB for my 10km today at PRF 47.29mins.

Not bad for a Nana … ha ha 🤣

I only run 2-3 days a week and manage the rest of the training with strength training in the gym and a swim.

This helps to keep my muscle mass high and to reduce my running load on my knees.

I was just planning on having fun, enjoying the scenery and getting some feel good vibes that running gives you 🙂.

Seeing all the marathoners and 1/2 marathoners out there today, giving it their all was so good to see.

What a wonderful community of people runners are … so much support for the elite runners right through to the beginners. That’s what it is all about, keeping fit strong 💪 and active for many years to come.

For some reason I was in the undisclosed category instead of the Female category, but my time would place me 3 rd for my age group, so happy with that.
I won the undisclosed category a category I didn’t even know I entered. This just shows my age as I probably didn’t have my glasses 🤓 on when ticking the box.

Fitness really is for the young and old from the 4 km to the Marathon. Maybe those who read this to the end, might just be inspired to do their own running event in the future? Why not give it a go. Every runner starts somewhere.

I just had to share this so Delicious 😋.

I wanted to start the day with some Protein and Vegetables .

Sunday air-fry protein brunch …

So good and super easy to make.

2 eggs

1 egg white

Mixed vegetables ( pumpkin , red onion , mushroom, zucchini , tomato which I pre cooked for 10 minutes in the air- fryer

1 low carb wrap

A sprinkle of Parmesan
And a sprinkle of Greek Feta

I mixed-it all together, placed it in a low carb wrap in a
non -stick pan and cooked for approximately 10 minutes in the air-fryer till golden brown.

This was super easy and so delicious I just had to share.

With around 380 calories , 30 grams of Protein, 33 grams of carbs and 21 grams of fat. This amount of protein for my Sunday Brunch is going to keep me fuller for longer and I got some great fibre in too with all the veggies.
