During National Volunteer Week 2026, we want to thank every coach, scorer, umpire, committee member, canteen helper, grounds volunteer and supporter who gives their time to our club.

Here are the details for Tracey Reid’s life celebration on April 13th. If attending, come in Southern Knights apparel or colours as we know Tracey loved her SK family 🧡🖤

The women’s team finished on top of the ladder after the regular SEMR season registering a comfortable win against GEMSA Saints in the semi final 4-1. This win secured the women a direct path into the Grand Final.

With the loss, GEMSA Saints ended up playing Doveton in the preliminary final the following day and showed their dominance with a come from behind win in the last 20 minutes of the game, 12-11.

Both teams win set the scene for a Grand Final to remember.

The SK women have struggled to overcome the strong Saints outfit at times this season with most games being decided by a 1 or 2 runs.

The Grand Final saw the SK women jump out of the blocks early scoring 2 runs in the first innings. G Reynolds and T Richardson, with the support of the team behind them, continued their dominant performance by holding off the Saints batting line up, with a number of strike outs and routine outs.

On the back of consistent defensive innings the women took the opportunity to open the flood gates with some creative batting resulting in a convincing Grand Final win 11-1 in 4 innings.
